Final score in this one is a little misleading. The Dragons played their best half of basketball of the season in the first half and only trailed 34-31 at halftime to the #1 team in the nation and defending national champions Bucks. The Bucks dominated the 3rd and 4th quarters. The Dragons gave their best effort but ran out of gas as we were playing our 3rd consecutive game on Sunday. The Dragons finish the Rockford Holiday tournament in 2nd place out of 12 teams with 3 wins over top 10 teams in the nation and our only losses to the #1 ranked Bucks. Dragons will try to bounce back when we head to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for our next tournament in early January.

Dragons get a hard-fought victory in the semifinals of the Rockford Holiday Tournament. Dragons were ahead 34-24 at the half then the Red Dawgs start 3rd quarter with a 10-0 run to tie the game. Back and forth 4th quarter until the Dragons pull away in the last couple minutes. Dragons improve to 15-2 on the season with their second victory over the Red Dawgs in 2 days.

The Dragons faced a big challenge against the #1 team in the nation and defending national champions Milwaukee Bucks. Bucks raced out to an early 15-2 lead but Dragons battle throughout the game to keep it relatively close. Dragons are now 13-2 on the season and will enter tomorrow's 12 team single elimination tournament as the #2 seed.

Dragons win game 2 of the Rockford Holiday tournament. Dragons outscore the Red Dawgs 18-6 in the second quarter to lead 37-24 at the half before gradually pulling away in the 2nd half. Dragons improve to 13-1 on the year.

The first national rankings have come out and the Dragons are currently ranked #5 in the nation. The Dragons finished in 5th place at the national tournament last year and are looking to improve upon that this year. The top 16 teams at the end of the season will qualify for the national tournament in Wichita, Kansas in March. 2

The Dragons win the 2019 Grand Rapids Keeping up the Pace Championship. Finish 4-0 with an average margin of victory of 39 points per game. The Dragons get balanced scoring throughout the tournament with 4 different leading scorers in their 4 games. Next up we'll head to Rockford Illinois in 2 weeks to take on some of the top teams in the country.

Dragons win their last game of the day and finish round robin play with a 3-0 record. They advance to championship game tomorrow at noon.

In a rematch of last month's championship game in Cincinnati, the Dragons fall behind early and fall behind by 12 at halftime. Dragons get as close as 6 in the second half but the Cavs pull away late and hand the Dragons their first loss on the year.

They've been hit pretty hard by injuries this year. Starting QB broke his hand in 5th game and they haven't been the same since. Felt very bad for him - 2nd straight year he's had a season-ending injury in the middle of the season.

The Dragons win the 2019 Enter the Dragon Tournament and improve to 4-0 on the season. The Dragons full-court pressure led to a lot of easy baskets in route to a 40-12 halftime lead and then the Dragons cruised to victory in the second half. Very proud of the hard work and improvement this team has made since last season. Cleveland has a very strong team that finished #6 in the nation last year.
