Simon Kenton travels to Highlands tomorrow night. Highlands won the 1st matchup in Lexington 47-41. It should be a good game with the post season right around the corner.
They are one of those teams I mentioned as ranked # 1 in the state. And yes they are 20 and 1. My statement was not to slight anyone else. The end goal is to play a good enough schedule to get you ready for a chance to get to state. Good luck to the Lady Cougars
Final from Hebron.
All SK losses have been to top 10 teams in the state. They have played teams with the # 1 ranking 4 times. One out of state loss to the #2 team in Indiana. It has to be one of the toughest schedules in the state if not the toughest.
Don't have the official numbers. Scott jumped out to 12 to 2 led, and led the better part of the game. SK hit back back 3's to lead with about 1:30 left.
Meredith fouled out early in the fourth followed by Secrist and Allen late. For SK Vickers, Bush and Waite all fouled out. Lots of fouls lots of free throws.
Bradshaw-NDA plays up a grade level for Kentucky Storm elite. Feldman-NDA, Lawson-Dixie, Webb-Simon Kenton, Jonhson-Ryle all play AAU for Kentucky Premier under Scott Schwartz. All compete at a high level. NKY looks to have relevance for years to come in Kentucky basketball.
