  1. Clark shooting better than P'ville. Panthers holding their own in other stats - a decided advantage in hustle.
  2. Laithan Hall (P) misses a trey with 4 sec on the clock. End of 1Q George Rogers Clark 13 Pikeville 8 Neither team shooting well. At. All. Game much slower than Clark would like. Nice work by Pikeville.
  3. All starters still in for both teams. Pikeville - Walters, Hill, Worrix, Samons, and Robinson. Clark Co. - Slone, Morton, Parrish, Walton, and Edwards.
  4. Concerned about Pikeville's depth against a team that runs like Clark can. Panthers only played one off the bench vs. North Laurel. Pikeville has the 10th best defense in the state, allowing 50.5 ppg. against a "soft" schedule - mostly EKY teams (not withstanding 4 wins at the KY All "A" Classic). Pre S16, the best team the Panthers played, according to the Massey Ratings was #11 Bowling Green at the Ashland Invite - a 61-62 loss. But it's March in the Bluegrass, I predicted they'd lose to North Laurel, and I'm just an owl. Hope springs eternal. Hail Pikeville!
  5. North, shooting 1-13 from beyond the arc became more productive inside, now lead 28-14 in Paint Points. Still out rebounded by the smaller Patriots 22-27. So size matters, eh? 😉
  6. North Oldham has a decided height advantage over Lincoln. They're not taking advantage of it. At the half: ✓ Points in the paint tied at 12-12. ✓✓ Patriots are out rebounding the Mustangs 14-7.
  7. Lyon County is more than a one trick pony, but I haven't been this juiced about a player since 2017. Will the young "King" in waiting carry the Lyons to the semis like "The Jake!" Ohmer did for Scott HS? Update on Travis Perry's record assault from yesterday's Final Score thread ~
