  1. The Little Dawgs and I went to Noce's Pizza in Edgewood after shopping on Monday. Had acquired a gift card in an auction and put it to use. Everyone had their own dish (pizza for me and one of the boys, a calzone for the other, and the DD had a hoagie), plus shared an order of bacon cheese fries. Wasn't overly expensive, and the food was legit. Dude that waited on us could've been a little more excited about being there, but it won't keep me from going back.

Love Noce's. Owner is a good dude. I get carry out pizza on a regular basis.

Will have to try that soon.

Off Turkeyfoot Rd. just past Thomas More...little strip of stores on the right.

Hmmm ... I'll have to give another try. I have not been impressed with Noce's in the past.

Wings there are AMAZING and so are the steak hoagies (I go with mushroom sauce on them).

I live on College Park (the street right behind Noce's), so it's a go-to :thumb:

  2. No discussion of Gambling in High School forums, has been and still is the rule.

If you see gambling discussion in High School forums please use report function to make us aware.

Discussing lines, over/under and other gambling talk is allowed in other forums as long as it is not about high school games.

I realize that discussing betting on high school sports is still illegal, but my question still remains: what changed that comments on gambling (on professional sports) were once a suspension-worthy infraction but are now permitted?

I'll bet that is cleared up now.

    Not at all.

  3. I do alright when I play Hold 'Em and make a bunch of final tables, but I've never looked much into books or anything, and I'm missing big chunks of my brain, so I feel like having a more concrete approach could only help.

My attention span is about as long as a fruit fly's, plus my blinks take a few seconds sometimes, so that makes reading books difficult.

Having said all that, does anyone know what the best audio books for Hold 'Em on iTunes are?

  4. I've been presenting at schools a few times this week and then had to wake up at 5:30 this morning to get all the way up to Withrow to present to classes all day, so I didn't have a chance to text Ratliff or anyone for a ride down to the Beechwood game.

Will it be on TV in Northern Kentucky? Will it be on a channel I can get them to put on at Wings and Rings?

  5. Instant bad call

I am not sure the ball ever got to the line on that 4th down. However it's one of those calls that there wouldn't be enough evidence to overturn what ever the call was on the field. If they called him short I think it would have stood, just like since they said he made it, it stood.

Sucks a great game comes down to such a controversial call. As it would have been much better if he clearly got it or clearly missed it. However that's part of the game. If Michigan doesn't have those turnovers that's OSU scored 14 points on, then Michigan wins.

Great game and this wraps up a playoff birth of OSU imo.

Unless the ball was between his thighs, he got it 

  6. I meant the games early and then go watch at the bar

Understandable and a definite possibility. I don't think I'd place a bet and then go to a bar to watch it because there's so many in-game bets that you can make as it goes on (from what I've been told).

  7. Aria will have no issues at all, all one floor. Mandalay Bay has a few steps down, and honestly, I'm not sure I've ever noticed a ramp (but there HAS to be one I just can't picture).

    Good looking out :thumb:

    I appreciate it!

Those are things I'm looking at, and also things of just easy access to cashiers and betting machines and payout booths, things like that. Definitely don't want to get stuck in one that's crowded or not easy to navigate around.

  8. I assume all of these will be easy to get around in in a wheelchair? And a few were mentioned, but the smaller crowds will be easier to roll around in, so take that into account.

I know they get insane for March Madness, but is it bad during football season?

  9. Mirage

That's what people say but it just doesn't look too appealing to me. The seating looks below-average and just doesn't look real welcoming or like I'd have good views.

Westgate (old Hylton) is known as the biggest and best. I also like Ceasars, but you might have to go somewhere smaller to get a seat during the weekends unless you bet huge they won't give you a seat at the bigger books. If you get there before the weekend talk to places and see what it takes to get seats for the games.

If I'm staying at the hotel, would I still need to bet big to secure seats?

Looking into it, the Westgate or Venetian look like the best.

Lots of bars will have GameDay specials if you bet early you can watch there and enjoy the specials.

The bars have sports betting too?! That might be a better bet because I'm going with two girls and they're not going to want to sit in a sportsbook but would have no problem in a bar.

    Good call :thumb:

  10. Looking to make a trip out to Vegas to watch the Ohio State-Michigan game (and games like Auburn-Alabama, Florida-FSU......) and then watch the Bengals at the Ravens on Sunday (and games like Falcons-Cardinals, Panthers-Raiders, Chiefs-Broncos.....), so what hotel has the best sportsbook to sit around and watch/bet on games all day?
