  1. Yes, but that shouldn't have happened. It should have been Mason/Augusta district finals.
  2. Augusta deserved every penny during that run. Mason County who lost twice should have been in the region and got the money too. Bracken County didn't deserve a region appearance because they were 3rd in the district.
  3. @AndOneDad you would think that the all high and mighty Augusta fan base would dig a little bit into their pockets to help make up for the money they are getting (which they don't deserve) from going to region. I'm sure you also hope socialistic Bernie Sanders is elected president because you seem to be a fan of taking away money from people who deserve it and worked hard for it and give it to people who don't deserve it.
  4. So is a very less talented St Pat girls team more of "men" than Bracken girls this year because they "man-ed up" and beat Augusta girls? Aren't basically St Pat and Augusta getting participation medals because that's all they really did, they competed with no good teams. So Bracken is mediocre for losing to the defending region champs by 3 when it was supposed to be by 30? You sir, make 0 sense.
  5. So are you also for a blind draw of the NCAA tournament and participation medals?
  6. So you're saying St Pat deserved the opportunity to go to region because they didn't suck as much as Augusta's girls did? The best two teams in district should go period. We seed football, 60 of 64 districts, the NCAA tournament, the NBA, etc. But all hell breaks loose when people try to use common sense and seed the 39th!
  7. I agree that post was a bit far. The point was that it was stated Bracken was "afraid" to play Mason County. When in fact Augusta and St Pat are the ones truly "afraid" of seeding because they will hardly ever see their precious money from the regional tournament.
  8. I have to tell you, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see if St Pat would score double digits! What a great "experience" for those girls!
  9. Ok but that Augusta team was an outlier. It will NEVER happen again. It's back to reality where St Pat and Augusta will be perennial contenders for what's supposed to be the 3 and 4 seed every year.
  10. The only thing Bracken is afraid of is watching the faces of the poor fans who have to see Augusta/St Pat get embarrassed in the region. It appears Augusta and St Pat are truly the afraid ones because they are still going with the draw.
  11. Also let me restate: Bracken County cancelled their road trips to Augusta and St Pat, in response Augusta and St Pat did they same thing.
  12. I'm response to Bracken County cancelling the away games, Augusta and Saint Patrick cancelled their road games. So they will not be playing in the regular season.
  13. Bracken County High School has cancelled all games in all sports with Augusta and St. Patrick until they vote to seed. CORRECTION *ALL AWAY GAMES*
  14. Congratulations to one of Augusta's big 3 on continuing his education and athletics to the collegiate level!
  15. How does one end up finding this school in Florida??
  16. Beacuse they are placing all their chips on Allen.
  17. Make sure to have JV practice. Some schools have varsity only and younger kids miss out on reps.
  18. IMO basically like minor league baseball. Make it a completely different group of kids but teaching the same views as the head coach has on varsity. All the teams, coaches, and players should be on the same page as far as team identity.
  19. I've been to Paris plenty of times, love the gym, but not the parking.
  20. Going based on what I saw from Allen last year. All their team riding off him.
