They are rejoining district play next year and will be paired with Edmonson, Monroe, Metcalfe and Green Counties. Last season and this season have been Clinton County’s best teams and they would have been competive with the bottom of their district. However, the other years they were looking 40-50 point losses to all district mates.
Too bad they aren’t in that district this year as they already defeated Metcalfe and would have a great shot to beat Green County as well. This was Clinton’s first victory over Metcalfe and having some friends in Albany, I can promise you it meant a great deal to them.
Would it mean more if they took a 50 point loss to Glasgow and then traveled 2-3 hours and take another 50 point loss in the playoffs?
Having been a fan of a team that has been a 4 seed three years in a row, I can tell you the playoffs have been anticlimactic.

I can't see either Berea or Fulton City winning games anytime soon. Might be time for both schools to evaluate their situations.
Too bad they are 5 hours away from each other or they could play each other.

Bluegrasspreps.com is giving you a chance to show off your football knowledge statewide! The Bluegrasspreps Regional Pick 'em gives you a chance to pick games in different parts of the state for prizes EACH WEEK. Due to the Thursday games in Jefferson County, the deadline in this week's contest is THURSDAY at 5 p.m. est.
There will be five regional contests every week. You will have a chance to pick the winners in each region -- NKY, EKY, Lexington/Central Ky, Louisville, and WKY.
Each region will have five games to pick from each week. We pick the games, and you will pick the winner of each game, assigning your picks a point value of 7-5-3-2-1.
The first tiebreaker is picking the team (of the ten teams in the contest) that scores the most points. You don't have to pick the highest scoring team, you just have to pick a team that scores more points than the team(s) picked by the member(s) you are tied with.
The second tiebreaker is time of post.
This is a season long contest and you can enter in any or all regions that you wish.
At the end of the regular season, the top two finishers in each region will compete during the playoffs for statewide bragging rights on Bluegrasspreps. If a contestant qualifies in more than one region, then the highest point total statewide from a non-qualifying contestant will advance as a Wild Card.
The best part is, if you win a weekly contest, you will receive a quality prize. Contest Prizes for the 2018-2019 School Year
The overall state winner after the playoffs will get a grand prize custom made for you.
The deadline for all entries is 5 p.m. (ET) Thursday.
Be sure to post your winners and assign each of them one of the following point values (7-5-3-2-1) based on how strongly you feel that that team will win.

Casey County was overmatched, Bell County was too strong.

An educated guess that no team has been picked incorrectly more often in a BGP regional contest than this year’s Trinity team through seven weeks.

North Hardin is one of the more underrated teams than in the state. The Trojans have kept things much closer than most thought they would the last 2 weeks against high caliber competition.
