They started a lot of the games, but there is hope. There is a lot of young talent coming up in the coming years

At Transy they Beat Batavia (twice), Bath Co, Pendelton Co, Bullett Central, and one other team. lost to Fairland, Henry Co, Lewis Co. and they could have beat Henry and Lewis.

Beechwood may only have 1 returning starter this year in J.T. Toebbe (9 pts and 7 RB per game), unless 2 of the football/baseball players decide to return. If not they will start JR Gannon Huff (4 pts)and SO Ben Toebbe (4 pts and 2 RB)who both played a lot of varsity last season. After that, they have 1 Senior 2 more Juniors and rest of team will be Soph and fresh. In Transy this past weekend they went 6-3. Their scoring was spread out over several players. They shared the ball very well, if they do that during the season they should win some close games.

Beechwood went 6-3 over the three days with a win over Pendleton county.

Beechwood was 6-3 at Transy. They beat Pendleton Co by 2, Beechwood blocked a shot with less a second left to win.

There is also this Ben Toebbe kid from Beechwood that I have seen play. He has some pretty sweet moves and a nice jump shot.
