gold sunrise Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Basketball season for 2015/2016 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Beechwood Remember, please be constructive.
basketballfan97 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Beechwood may only have 1 returning starter this year in J.T. Toebbe (9 pts and 7 RB per game), unless 2 of the football/baseball players decide to return. If not they will start JR Gannon Huff (4 pts)and SO Ben Toebbe (4 pts and 2 RB)who both played a lot of varsity last season. After that, they have 1 Senior 2 more Juniors and rest of team will be Soph and fresh. In Transy this past weekend they went 6-3. Their scoring was spread out over several players. They shared the ball very well, if they do that during the season they should win some close games.
basketballfan97 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 At Transy they Beat Batavia (twice), Bath Co, Pendelton Co, Bullett Central, and one other team. lost to Fairland, Henry Co, Lewis Co. and they could have beat Henry and Lewis.
basketballfan97 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Who are the 2 football/baseball players? Bankemper and Benson
Horace Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Bankemper and Benson Didn't both start last year? There is no glory or hope of glory at Beechwood playing basketball.
basketballfan97 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Didn't both start last year? There is no glory or hope of glory at Beechwood playing basketball. They started a lot of the games, but there is hope. There is a lot of young talent coming up in the coming years
Bigdaddy987 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 what do the benson and bankemper kid bring to the team?
All In Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 At Transy they Beat Batavia (twice), Bath Co, Pendelton Co, Bullett Central, and one other team. lost to Fairland, Henry Co, Lewis Co. and they could have beat Henry and Lewis. Beating Pendleton County was somewhat of a shock, was Pendleton missing some starters?
basketballfan97 Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Benson was called on to defend their scorer. Bankemper was a big body inside. Pendleton had all the starters I thought would be there form last years team. T. Allen was playing and they ran a lot of play through him. Beechwood played a good team game with a lot of passing and assist.
