Your use of thug is ignorant. You can use as many emojis as you want, you ignored the intent of my post.
Yes, he intentionally threw the ball off the Miami player. No, I don't think it was malicious, and I definitely don't think he's a thug because of it.
Your dismissal of what happened is ignorant. The word thug, is defined as a person who is violent. What your buddy "Trezyll" did, had nothing to do with the game and had everything to do with him losing his cool. There is a pattern here. What he did was worse than punching a player.
How did I miss "the intent" of your post?

This is about as ignorant of a post as you'll ever read on BGP... Wow.
Soooo you are suggesting that it wasn't intentional or done with malice? Who is ignorant? :jump:
But yeah you are right. He obviously thought he was falling out of bounds...or he wanted to set up an inbounds play. Yeah I'm way off base. :jump: :isurrender:

You assume this was the only reason I even brought up Pitino?
3 players dismissed, a coat room love affair. Yes I thought it was time for Billie Gillespie to leave as soon as I heard about his coed hot tub nights.
No reasonable person can suggest that it was not intentional. He clearly was angered and decided to go "thug" on the Miami player.

There was, but good ole poster made an absurd comment that will get a thread shut down every time.
What was his comment?

This is a thread about high school sports right?

I'm thinking that the person who delivers the best insult to the opposing program will literally alter the outcome of the game... that will be played in August...by teenagers. It's a challenge! Please carry on and let the mudslinging begin.

Gotcha. My fault.
Nah it was my poor sentence structure and use of quotes.

Yo, Champ. Relax a bit. JJD is a Colonel fan if I recall.
My comments were not directed at him. I was trying to explain my previous comments about another poster, to him. Sorry for the confusion.

But unfortunately, they didn't win. And hence, the insufferable, but justified boasting continues in Ft. Thomas. Highlands is simply the best there is - hopefully, some day soon, the Colonels can be competitive (and I hope some of these TBA transfers don't come from 1600 Dixie Highway - seen that movie before).
One thing for certain, HHS won't let off the gas pedal. They are the standard.
If Highlands is such the standard, why would a Highlands fan become so passive aggressive on a Cov Cath thread? Why bother? Sorry but I think that is funny. I'll give the Birds all the credit in the world. I just found the previous comment humorous.

Red's offense was a version of the run and shoot. It's a very reginional offense (KY, IN, OH). Not many people know it. It's an offense I always had a thing for and always wanted to learn. It was a head of its time in many ways.
I'm not a huge fan of the run and shoot yet, but I'm sure it will grow on me. It's definitely an exciting offense.

Eddie basically employs a run and shoot offense. He obviously adds his own "flare"

What is so funny? CovCath had issues last year with both injury and internal suspensions with several of their players, and I give them credit for a fine season. But they lost to Beechwood and that should tell you their talent level is not where their fans imagine it is at. Highlands has plenty of talent coming back and joining the fold.
Cov cath has not had a football coach in years. Regardless, my comment was more directed to your tone than substance. Hilarious

I think Eddie will be a good coach for CovCath. I do not believe he will be able to implement a quick-attack offense at CovCath because they do not have the same type of athletes who had to work with at G'Town. I hope the CovCath fans give him a chance to settle in because Highlands is much better than the Colonels next season.
It will not be fair to Eddie to expect him to beat Highlands in 2015. The Birds lose some good players, but the lower levels and a couple of transfers - TBA! - will make Highlands looking for a state title again!
Hilarious.

Norb...a legend. In fact, he is the greatest Norb of all.

Someone had a link to the thread recently. The excitement was evident.
Sure on this particular web site I guess. The consensus, throughout the community, was that the previous hire was definitely an improvement...but I think it pales in comparison to the current optimism.
-
I was speaking about new hires in general creating excitement. As to CCH in particular there seemed to be a fair amount of excitement when Wirth was hired, as well there should have been. Not sure about GCL guys but CCH guys were excited at the time.
I don't recall the excitement of which you speak.

Cov cath was very competitive with Highlands, year in and year out from 1987-1997. In that ten year period, CCH won 5 state titles. Everything went down hill for the Colonels when coach Ray left. There were a couple of coach Ray's later seasons that were not victorious against Highlands but they were quite competitive. The dominance didn't start until after coach Ray retired. I admit...it's embarrassing. I promise Eddie Eviston will reverse the trend and even things out. Cov cath has needed new blood for quite some time.

I think everyone should know that Eddie is receiving a very warm welcome from CCH. I think he is a great fit and cov cath will be lucky to have him for however long he is there. I grew up with Eddie and I went to cov cath. We are happy that he is now a colonel. His job will be simple. Make the program his own and beat highlands.

Oh ok. I gotcha. You are trying to read into something that's simply not there. Laughable.
