  1. game will be streamed on WBONTV.com Anybody coming tonight, let me know. If you get there early enough, you'll get to see me out on the floor for Senior night:lol::ylsuper:. Best of luck to both teams and Rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Tribeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!
  2. He had a really good game against us(Madison Central)as well.
  3. Central doesn't press a lot, other then maybe token pressure. They pick up high on the half court. My guess is, that Isaiah Minter will guard CJ, CJ will have the height advantage, but not many quicker then Minter, and he is a relentless on ball defender.
  4. Not sure I see your point......I don't see it as disrespect, just the opposite. Feldhuas always puts together one of the toughest out of regions schedules in the state and figures, Sr. night or not, his team is going to play the best. I think it is a great way to go out as a senior, as opposed to bringing in somebody that they would drum by 40. Just my opinion though.
  5. Quick parking tip, there is parking across the street from the school, and that is were you will have to park is you are there after 6:30 I would think. But with that being said, it will be the easier exit after the game.
  6. The place should most defiantly be rocking, as the student section will be out in full force. Senior night is always a tough night and this year it makes it harder by bringing in such a tough opponent. (Feldhaus is never one to shy away that is for sure). I know the guys are looking forward to this game a lot. Central has 6 seniors (my son is one of them) and it will be a raucous, completive, and fun environment to send them off in style. As for the game, I really am undecided right know, obviously my heart is with Central, but CCH is the real deal and could defiantly come in and steal the win. I think the biggest adjustment that CCH will face, and the thing that will give them the most trouble is the team speed of Central on the defensive end. I know they have some great shooters, but those shooters will not get many clean looks and when they don't have the ball, they will be seeing faced up denial type "D" to get the ball. Cozart will be a factor on the defensive end, he always is, but what makes him most effective is the perimeter "D" that funnels the players to him and puts him in a position to do his thing. I believe he had 8-9 blocks last year at CCH, so I am sure he will patrol the paint as he usually does. On the offense end we need to keep the scoring droughts to a minimum, and we need to take care of the ball. Isaiah Minter is playing some of his best ball and is one of the best PG in the state, his name just isn't out there with the others. He has been shooting the deep ball very well, and there are few people that can stay in front of him when he takes it to the basket. How he plays, and staying out of foul trouble will dictate Centrals outcome. The other big piece is Dustin Gerald, he too is not well known, but is a really good ball player. He needs to make quick decisions on his pass, shot reads and play big underneath. If I have to pick, and that's the whole point of the thread....so I do. I will take Central in a close one by 3. It's a big time game and let's hope the big time players show up. I can't wait for Friday night. Any BGP'ers in the house let me know....I will be there.
  7. He is at 504 right now, so add a few more this season and avg of 220 over the last 2 years to get to next years number and I would think a rough guess would be 750ish. Some body might what to check my thinking but that is how I figure it.
  8. Glad everybody liked the updates.............This was an exciting game for sure, and I will gladly take the win on the road against a very good team. I am not sure how well S. Laurel normally shoots but they shot the ball extremely well tonight. My son said coach told them in the locker room that Ramsey had 35....I believe it, he was on fire. The impressive thing was, they shot very few uncontested shots, just about every one had a hand in their face. Like I said, not sure if it was normal tonight, but they were impressive. On the defensive end they really didn't have an answer for Cozart, although few teams do. I felt like we missed a lot of opportunities down low by being late with the ball. All in all, I was very impressed with S. Laurel, they played very tough and should do well in the tournament. Central had a lot of chances to put this thing away, and really missed some easy shots, chalk that up to scrappy defense, but we missed way too many chips shots so to say. On the defensive end, we played well, although giving up 70 pts doesn't look like it, but when I team shots that well there is not a lot you can do with that. Both Isaiah's, Cozart and Minter had really good games. Minter had to sit for a bit when he got his 3rd and that hurt us on the offensive flow. He is shooting the ball well and that will need to continue for Central to keep winning. We had a period in the 3rd, really the whole 3rd it seemed, where we could not buy a basket. It has been droughts like that, that have hurt us in our losses this year, defiantly have to shore that up before Friday and Cov Cath comes to town. All in all, a good win for the team. It was a close one, and those tend to build character and toughness. On to Friday night when Covington Catholic comes to Richmond. Here is hoping that we give them the same welcome we gave Trinity and Ballard. Rollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll Tribeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
