Owens from Henderson is making her case for player of the year in 2nd region. Last three games, vs Male 25pts 10rebs, vs Mulhenburgh 33pts 10rebs, vs Union 35pts 14rebs. 3 games in five days total 93pts 34rebs not bad.

Ohio county vs Henderson was at Ohio county. Also Henderson did not play point guard or 6"6 starting center. So nice win for Ohio but it was at home and Henderson not a full strength.

I hope Henderson has a full deck Friday night. After Webster win took a bad loss at Ohio county the next night but played without two starters ware and Mitchell both who took injuries in webster game.

They are ok but not great. Great basketball town. Henderson had them down 15 early got into a little foul trouble and had leading scorer ejected and held on for the win. And at that time we didn't have bench player 6-9 so not much on bench to help.

My bad top 3 off bench forgot Hooper was hurt. So cols who now are playing 11 guys played just 7 vs uha. Don't get me wrong Henderson won't beat the two top dogs but they are right with uha.

Uha could be better than Henderson but Henderson played without their leading scorer and their top 2 guys of the bench. And uha wins by just 3 on their home court. So maybe number three but not clearly.

But I believe Mercy is 8-3 in ky games and if they only count those then I could see top ten.

I believe that means in Louisville schools. Then their are 4 ranked teams out of state. Because Henderson is 3rd in out of state teams they sure ain't number 3 in state. Lol

I don't think a team will ever win state title with .500 record. But interesting in 2006 Henderson enter district play just 13-11 lost in district finals to union then went to regions first round beat top 5 Christain County 25-4 record then went on to win championship vs union on their home court. Went to state beat Marshall 25-7 and Etown 27-7. Then in final four lost to state champs Lex Catholic by just 13pts which was their closet game in state tournament. So records and rankings don't always mean much but they are fun to talk about and fun to learn about teams across the state.

Henderson beat webster 66-39. Webster lost their pg again to torn acl on Saturday. Payne. Henderson was led by Owens with 34. Henderson was up 31 so give webster credit they didn't quit and get the running clock.

True but Henderson has had 15 days off and Tuesday starts the district and that sets you up for the big run to the state tournment. They do still have Lou Male and Bulter to play.

Henderson Murray game great half then a lesson learning for a lady colonels. End of 1st Henderson up 20-17 Owens had 6 pts two fouls came out with 1:30 to go in 1st didn't play 2nd at all and Murray took a 4pt lead into the half. 3rd quarter Owens did not play in the dog house and with 5mins to go in 3rd coach Haile had two jv players out their that don't even start jv. So after 3rd Murray up 18 pts then finally Owens came in with 6mins to go and Murray up 23pts. With all that said Murray wins with Owens and regulars playing in 3rd but a much better game and around a 7 or 8 pt game.

Henderson County is unbeaten vs Kentucky teams but that won't last long they play Murray Jan 8th.

Henderson County won the OIT beating 3 nice teams all with 8 wins and will have a chance for a region title. Apollo, John Hardin, Owensboro Cathlioc of course none of these three are top 20 teams just good teams.

Henderson has a show down with number 5 in Indiana Mater Dei Tuesday. On the road they have a home record like Coach Cal dose at Rupp.

Lady cols where up 12 in 3rd but it was a tie going into 4 th. Henderson went on a 15-2 run to end the game.

Lady cols 5-0 now. Had foul trouble the whole game had a freshman come off the bench and hit 5 threes and a SOph hit 4 threes off the bench.

Lady cols with a great win over Bullit East. Owens had 28 pts 7 Rebs.
