Important game for playoff positioning in Class 3A District 5. Thoughts?

Lewis County is dropping Boyd County and Powell County and picking up East Carter and Mason County.

I in no way want to disrespect NC, they deserved the win. A total offensive IMPLOSION from the comets. The entire offense had a bad game at the same time. Again NC played hard, won a game they shouldn't have, hats off to their players. But raceland wins big against NC.

I wouldn't say they won a game they shouldn't have when their best player didn't play... Impressive game from NC.

Also, I do know that Lewis and East will be playing again next year. Lewis has won 4 straight in the series.

Sorry Bath County is scheduling up a little bit the next 2 seasons to better themselves for the playoffs. They are getting the kids out, the community is behind the team, and look to have a really good team that will compete for the district returning the next 3 seasons at least. If our homecoming date drops out though we will give you call.

Better hope you guys don't have Bracken County scheduled for homecoming...

Usually. This year I would venture to say that is the Wheelersburg Pirates. Nonetheless a fantastic win by the Rams! Way to defend this side of the pond!

I'm now hearing that even the official said that he crossed the goal line and then fumbled. Which means he just didn't know the rule. If that's the case and I hope it isn't, that is just inexcusable.

Apparently there was a very confusing finish.

I didn't have a good view of it, but everybody that was standing in that end zone claimed that LC QB Isaac Kelly crossed the goal line with under a minute left and then dropped the ball. Powell jumped on it and it was ruled a touchback. Powell regained possession with under a minute left and kneeled it out to end the game.
