Does the Greenup Beacon still do livestreaming?

Will this be streamed online anywhere? Will be out of town tonight and would like to catch the action live.

Can someone do updates for the Lewis/West scrimmage? I'm at work and unable to attend.

Haven't seen this discussed in any other threads yet but the accommodations for the teams are the biggest joke. I talked to someone at Beechwood and they were forced to get dressed in baseball batting cages, outside of the football stadium. They didn't have any running water or toilets. I was told players were literally going to the bathroom in bushes outside of the hitting facility. Hazard was also forced to leave the stadium and walk to the basketball arena to get dressed.

 

These kids work their tails off for 6 months in order to reach the state finals and how are they rewarded? The reward is a batting cage.

 

IMO, that ruins the experience for kids. If these are the accommodations the kids get, then something needs to change.

Kelly, Offut, and Plank can flat out play. The Lions played with great energy and moved the ball better on Russell than anyone has this year. Lewis scored almost as many points tonight(28) as Russell had allowed on the whole season so far(30).

 

Time to tighten things up and head down to Owingsville, without Nick Conley. Speaking of Nick, aside from passing Kasey Clark on the rushing list, I think he also tied Josh Gross tonight for the school record for TDs in a game with 6.

Thanks for the kind words. It's Plank's first year playing since 8th grade and Offutt's first year playing since JFL. Those two are raw but have loads of talent and potential and it came out tonight. Isaac is a second-year QB and can make plays. But what can you say about Nick Conley? The guy was fantastic. What happened on the ejection?

He will have to sit out two games.

Great job Lions scoring more points than anyone else has on the Devils all year in just the first half! Better showing than I'm sure most were expecting.

Can anyone tell me what is being done about Sheldon Clark dropping out of district play for the sake of playoffs? Will the district winner (most likely Russell) of district 5 get a bye or play the 5th place team from its own district?
