    you draw the line at forcing other peoples kids to wear unnecessary equipment. People have been playing softball for a long time without masks.

    It should not be mandated. The rules are fine just the way they are. Its a parents decision. Competitive softball isn't for everyone.

    Go to Mid-America Sports Center in Louisville any Saturday or Sunday and you will see middle school teams and travel teams playing each other. They don't care who you are. The school teams are not suppose to wear their school uniforms, but they do. It's really an insurance issue.
