Highlands dominated possession for about 75% of the game. They moved well, passed very well and had many chances but could not finish. The goal came with about 4 minutes left in the second half off a header from a corner. There were many calls in this game. It seemed like the game stopped every two minutes for a call that I didn't see. It was a very physical game. It is so disheartening to lose a game where your team dominated so much. But the girls will be back on Saturday at 1:00. I'm not sure who they play.

Anyone that goes to the games will see that the coach's daughter gets very little playing time. She probably got more playing time last year, playing for someone else. It's the hardest position on the field being the coach's child. I have trouble thinking how anyone taking this head coaching position could succeed with the amount of negative parent involvement. How are the players supposed to learn to respect their coach and be a positive role model for the younger players when all they hear is negativity? Why would they want to step up and be a leader? Parents disrespecting the coach in front of players and other parents is not okay.

I agree that time shouldn't matter. I just meant that there was no obvious call. Both girls were elbowing for the ball and neither came away with it. Both were on the ground and no one got hurt or had an advantage.

It was a back to back game. Both teams passed very well, took turns with possession and IMO, to call a foul in the box after 75 minutes of playing equally matched, equally physical soccer is the wrong call to make. But ya win some, ya lose some!

I was very impressed with Campbell County. They have not been much of a threat in the last 10 or so years. I think it's great. The game was very physical and who knows what would have happened had they had the full 11 on the field?
