No. I haven't been to any of Bracken's games this year. The operative word was seen, therefore I didn't list anyone I haven't seen. Nothing more so don't make assumptions.
Please read post #9, what am I missing.

If Mont. County can knock down the 3 every night like they in this game they will be a tough out, but I doubt that will happen.

Saw a brand of Augusta basketball that wasn't there in previous games. Boxing out, taking charges, tight defense and very solid defense. Passed on forcing threes as SK height gave few open looks. Driving to the hoop generated tons of FT opportunities. Great game plan by Kirk and execution by the team. Maddox was all tournament and he gave Panthers great start scoring teams first 10. The confidence from this victory could be huge.
I'm thinking the 10th might be much stronger then many think. #1 in 15th Lawrence Co. loses to Mason Co. Arguably #1 or #2 in 8th Simon Kenton loses twice (Montgomery Co. and Augusta). Christmas has been good for 10th Region!
Sorry, but SK is not 1 or 2 in the 8th. Have you seen Owen or Oldham County play ??

Huge upset of 8th Region power. Augusta starts five guards with tallest 6'1". Simon Kenton goes 6'8", 6'6", 6'6", 6'4" and 6'2". Augusta wins this game with hustle, rebounding and solid D.
Cameron Maddox leads Panthers with 30. Owens Crawford was in total control at PG and contributed 13. Snapp was big on boards and added 6, followed by Pugh with 7, Shoemaker with 4 and Staggs with 3.
Augusta known for their threes took less than 5 on the night choosing to dribble drive drawing multiple fouls. Their only successful three was by Maddox. Augusta was exceptional from the line hitting 32 of 41, with 5 misses coming late making for nervous Panther fans.
Refreshes Augusta back into conversations of being a player in the 10th.
Yes, it was a nice win, but SK is not an 8th region power.

I will but you lunch if you ever see @Danny wearing CCH gear.
Did I ever stir up a big ruckus. Correct, I do not have any CCH gear and have no plans of purchasing any, but as a neutral 9th region fan I can certainly see CCH rising to the top of the heap.

Apparently the only come to big local games. Maybe we'll see them roll out for NCC and Holy Cross.
Disappointing turnout tonight.
However, kudos to those that did come out. They brought it.
Why didn't you go over and help them out tonight?

Pretty good ball game, I don't think either team played there best. McNeil got in some foul trouble and had to sit awhile. This region may be as open as it has ever been. Horrible crowd at Holmes tonight considering both schools are traditionally strong in basketball.
The region is only wide open in terms of second best, CCH is becoming the team to beat.

I am one who is not in favor of the three point line, but to answer you question, it should be moved back. I am not real sure this will help, as now days some kids will almost fire it up once they reach front court. LOL

MC by 10, more athletic. Who contains Pig ?

The stories of Campbell County's demise were greatly exaggerated
I doubt that a 3 pt. win over Montgomery will solve their problems.
-
The quadruple team held Williams to little to none points in th second half. Then Trinity used their four corners offense the whole fourth quarter.
Carson was slowed down in the second half,,but he was not held to zero points..
-
Owen County was up 43-30 and then went 9 minutes without scoring.
Just wondering where your info came from, I saw the game and did not realize they went 9 minutes without scoring..
-
Yep. Oldham was the "lock" to make it last season. You never know.
I did not say Oldham County was a lock, I agree the lock can always be opened one way or the other.
-
How far do you think the rebels will go if they can make it to rupp?
They will have to beat Oldham County before we talk about Rupp.
-
This should establish that the Rebels are legit and can run with the big dogs of the state.
If Owen County had better guard play the win the game.
-
St. X will not be a factor,,CCH big...
-
The CC is playing currently I doubt if they can put up a win, Mont. County by 17.
-
If Brossart plays "D" like they normally do, I'd have to pick them in the upset.
Why would this be an upset ?
-
Can OC find their way to Louisville, seems as they never get very far from home. Trinity by 9.
-
I'm pretty sure a Scott will win,,Ok Scott County by 16.
-
Was Bryan Station in the tourney??
No, they were in the KOB Overtime, a stand alone game to be played on Sunday.
-
To date I have seen 9 of the top 20 teams play including Dunbar, is it just me, or is the talent level of the state really subpar .
-
Home court, better talent, more experience, better balance equals an Augusta WIN. Allen is not rounded enough to carry PC.
-
Indians could make a nice run in the All A.
I'm guessing right now, they're thinking larger than All A.

Just wondering, does Grant County have any.
