Olmstead is well over 300 lbs he should be very strong indeed ,I assume he benches well over 400 .what are his other lifts Squat Deadlift and so on. That's a good squat for a kid . And CC has a player around 400 who should surpass it by years end with a Deadlift over 600 and a squat who knows where I would guess around low 5s with a few weeks work . There used to be NKY HS powerlifting Championships in the 80s and 90s ,surprised they have disappeared I remember Ludlow Campbell County and even small schools like Bellevue had some great lifters back then Dixie had some very powerful kids as well ,a great way to raise money for schools and teams as well with lifters getting sponsers who donate change per lb lifted ,some nice awards /medals for kids and teams and more goals for young athletes would be great for the sport as well as seeing who is really doing what in the weight room .

LOL I think you need to look at some huddle Highlights my friend Myers had the sweetest tackle I have ever seen on your beloved QB followed up by almost an identical one on their RB ,they know what its like to be weightless now . And yes its a Football Forum and im talking about a kid who has played since he was six and has as much D1potential as any kid in his Region ,strength speed endurance and experience ,as I said simply watch the film he hammered the SK backs when he had his chance and if there's any doubt about his well roundedness I would suggest looking back at the CC /Dixie game where he totally discombobulated Dixies QB and wide receiver on their last series .LOL ITS all good though fans dads coaches and whoever can have their say but when reality sets in all eyes will go to the men and not the boys .

lol and what College is he looking at . Tough and Bad are understatements your talking about a soon to be 4 x state wrestling champ.all at 220 the most dominant and successful wrestler in.Ky history .400lb bench 600+ Deadlift and more knowledge of Training than any coach in.his region.

Sauerback is a beast ,Myers is about to be the nations first ever 4 x state wrestling champ at 220 AND UNDEFEATED IN SEASON and hopefully the states first ever double AA after next week .And I guarantee hes the strongest kid in the state .Strongest baddest nastiest hardest working kid in the state without a doubt .Now talk about whoever you want and ignore whoever you want but take a wide path when he comes your way .

Just wondering with so many strength programs and teams in Football, who are some of the strongest kids in the state and what are their lifts .

I think Campbell County May have some Linebackers who have something to say about who is the best tandem trio or even best athlete period .

Yes Brock was winning when he got injured im sure he would have done well and he has plenty of time before fargo to get it together. and it was good some of the other wrestlers were there particularly cadets ,its a bit different for some but most ky wrestlers I would think were better at freestyle than Greco not having the numbers to go with in freestyle and Greco or the tournaments in state to attend like some of the other states have ,Ky should have a few more experienced kids in the mix next yr Austin will be back and im sure the other Union and CC kids who can come back will as well .

Yes that match he lost in the finals at jr nationals was his one and only loss ever in HS folkstyle wrestling or HS wrestling period ,he is leaner but not lighter he weighed in at 219.8 this weekend and no chance in He!! he drops to 195 YET without another go at 220 at sr nationals when he is on point. Might be 197 in college but who knows.I think one of his reasons for wrestling freestyle Greco this year is to make up for what he lacks in training in the season as far as comp he was challeneged a bit in ohio and ky as a soph and fresh not as much as a jr . surprised only he and Brock wrestled Cen Regionals ,thus my reasoning for putting them at the top .NO FEAR .

Brock .Austin ,and probably JO JO Carr.in whatever order Austin Myers ,just won Central regionals Freestyle and Greco Wrestling Championships as well as both Most outstanding wrestler Awards one in each style giving up only 1 point in each style .After not competing in these styles in three years but being a former Ohio Schoolboy and Cadet State Champion and Fargo and national duals competitor ,he shocked a lot of people and dominated in one of the toughest regional and freestyle Greco Tournaments in the country without wrestling a single match in these styles in years and mostly training with kids who do not know the first thing about Freestyle and Greco Wrestling .Jay Yenter ,father of College wrestler and former Ky state champ Garth Yenter has been working closely with Austin and the two seem to be working out the kinks .Austin will have to decide wether to try and be Kys first ever Double all American or focus on one style for The national Championships to be held in Fargo once again in July . Brock Ervin was competing in the regionals as well as many other Ky standouts ,Brock was injured in his first match where he was winning convincingly before taking a nasty cut to the eye ,nothing to be worried about but he was not able or allowed to compete any more duiring the weekend ,Brock has committed to Illinois where he will be with a few other Ky standouts Fahy and another Ervin his Brother I do believe.

Would you really put them in that order and do you actually follow the sport , no one in Ky managed a score against Myers and he only gave up one when he was seriously injured in a match he won easily this yr !! 3 yrs undefeated in and out of season with two AA 3 state titles and 2 nat titles , ????? Has anyone ever accomplished as much in the state as Campbell county's first ever 3x champ . I'm not sure people actually understand the sport . I do not think there has ever been a 4x state champ at 220lbs by anyone in the Nation let alone ky . Never in Ohio or ky for sure . Perhaps no or will understand just how good someone was untill they are in college !!!

Myers is now a 3x undefeated state Champ and the only wrestler in the list undefeated in HS .

Actually not so hard as of Win Magazine and Brute wrestling national rankings wich came out on Jan 30 Pre state four KY wrestlers were ranked , 120 Nathan Boston Woodford Co # 3 126 Trae Blackwell Union Co # 17 132 Brock Ervin Union Co # 6 220 Austin Myers Campbell County #2 All Srs except the undefeated 3x State 2 x National champ Jr Austin Myers . and newspapers are misleading he is not just undefeated by any ky wrestler in HS he has not lost to any wrestler period , and Campbell Count wrestles more in Ohio than my he majored the third ranked wrestler in Ohio 12-2 a couple months back and as beaten both the Indiana state champ and runner up the last two yrs . A youth jr high and HS nat champ who's true fresh brother just qualified for nationals at Lindsey Wilson , not so hard to compare you beat every single person who steps across the mat from you most in quick fashion he wrestled 68 seconds in his first four matches at state combined an 8, a 9 , a18 ,a 33 sec pin , and a tech in the second his last match at state . He just set himself apart without ?

Campbell County should repeat Large School ,Union should repeat Small School , Erving,Blackwell,from union are ones to watch ,Courtney, Boston, Carr ,from Woodford Lampes ,from x,Frankrone from Trinity, Fausz ,The HS undefeated 2 state and national champ Austin Myers ,Mathews ,Turner,Wells ,Sinclair , from Campbell County .The whole 182 lb class is tough ,in Large school ,Erdmans from Ryle along with Meiman are legit .

Myers is undefeated in High School Competition and is a two x High School National champ and a freshman national champ and OW award winner and undefeated at National Duals representing Team Ky the past two yrs Kys first ever freshman state champ weighing over 170 lbs and has a shot at being Kys first ever four time champ 170 or over ,He beat the current Indiana state champ as a freshman and has beaten numerous state placers champs and nationally ranked wrestlers ,unlike any of the others mentioned he plays Football as well the starting Middle Linebacker for the Camels ,and yes dad brags on him in the gym wich is a heckuva lot better place to brag on a kid than the BAR .A shot at being Kentuckys first ever Undefeated wrestler ,KY first ever 220 fresh champ Ky first ever fresh national champ and ow winner Ky first ever 2x nat champ and currently Ky Only undefeated state champ .I think he has earned the top spot
