After a TC punt, Kendon Young takes it 47 yards for his 3rd TD of the first half. 21-0 CHS 6:35 left in the half.
-
After TC turnover on downs, CHS is forced to punt. 8 min left in second quarter.
-
After TC punt, Campbellsville has two false starts in a row and a high snap on punt for CHS forces Young to run for a first down. Following play Young runs 41 yards for a TD. Two point conversion good for CHS. 14-0 CHS
-
After a TC fumble, Campbellsvilles Kendon Young scores on a 3 yard run. 6-0 CHS after missed XP

Great atmosphere here at Campbellsville Univeristy as the rival game is set to begin! Taylor County to receive.
-
Matt Jones tweets that Mark Stoops will be in attendance for this one tomorrow.
His arrival transportation??? A helicopter.

Just curious as to how many rival games we got going on this week. Heres a couple to start:
Danville/Boyle
Taylor/Campbellsville
-
I was just curious of how they were doing. Seems like the kid is very good. Would love to see them play.
Right now they are sitting at 1-1, with a loss to Bardstown who are Top Ten in 2A, and then beating 4A Russell County 19-0. What better game to watch then tomorrows as they take on huge rival Taylor County @ Campbellsville University.

No. It is not true.
Thanks! :thumb:

Three players from Pulaski County, including PG Peyton Gover, have enrolled at SW. They have also added a 6'8" big man from Africa named David Adeyemo. I heard they'll go about 9 deep and looked really good this summer.
Pulaski County has also picked up three kids but I don't know their names.
Casey County has added DJ White from Madisonville North Hopkins.
Boyle County has added Jeremiah Bell from Butler.
Mercer County has added Malik Dow from Ballard.
It's going to be a fun season to watch 12th region basketball.
I read earlier in the summer that Lincoln County might have got someone as well. Any details as if this is true?

I just got some insight on transfers in the 12th region. I think Southwestern is going to be very good.
Who? Who? Who? :sssh:
-
What makes you say that?
Go watch them. Kendon Young is a very exciting player to watch with D1 talent. Their whole team is very athletic.
-
This is a cross town rival so anything goes... Taylor Co has won this game three years in a row. Campbellsville is hungery to get back on top in this heated contest. All things considered, I like Campbellsville in this years edition of the "Battle of the Birds" 42-0. Good Luck to All Class A programs this week...
Thats what I have been telling everyone, even though Campbellsville should win huge in this game...Its a rivarly game so anything can happen.
-
All of the other 4 will.
This just got me excited to watch the 12th!!
-
Who wins and why?
I think this is a no brainer, Campbellsville wins Huge 35-0.
-
I think Campbellsville deserves some love at that revolving door #10 spot...
I'd agree. If you don't think so, go watch them. Fun to watch.
-
The list looks good. Class A is tough early in the season with a lot of games against bigger schools. One team that has been out of the mix for a while is Campbellsville. The next few weeks will yell, but they seem poised to take that next step... Good Luck this week to All Class A programs...
Campbellsville has looked impressive thus far, wouldn't be surprised to see them sneak into the top ten soon.
-
You got that right, and maybe higher.
People are also going to realize who the elusive #1 for Campbellsville is, also. Mr. Kendon Young. Height, size, speed, hips, strength, etc.....there is a reason ole' Charlie made a personal visit to see him last year (right before he left for Texas).
He's got the size of a D-1 athlete, with room to grow as a junior. Campbellsville is going to be a fun team to watch! I believe they are def top ten in class A.

Final.
Great shut out by the eagles. I said it at the beginning of the year, Campbellsville is gonna be a very scary team to play. The Eagles take on the rivals across the street next week in Taylor County. The game will be held at Campbellsville University. Personally, I don't think taylor county stands a chance. They took a loss at home to Casey County 0-22. But hey, it's a rivalry game. Anything can happen.

Who is top 5? Ill take a stab at it.
1. Mercer County
2. Lincoln Counry
3. Southwestern
4. Boyle County
5. Casey County
Can anyone really compete with Mercer in this region?
-
I'm hearing rumblings that Lincoln County has or is gaining a transfer. Can anyone confirm or deny and state a name?
Have you heard a name?
-
42-17 Boyle
It's gonna be more competitive than the score shows. Huge fourth quarter from Boyle.
-
1 Hit plus 7 points = a Final score of 34-7.....I'm saying 7 instead of 14 due to the fact the the Panters D put 6 on LC offense....If not mistaken it was the same kid #7 who added the Pick 6.....C'mon Man!
What does that have to do with the 14 points Lincoln scored? Just because Frankfort scored on defense doesn't mean it takes away points that Lincolns offense put on Frankforts defense.
LOL someone got upset, I just came across that picture and thought it was a nice hit. Obviously from the picture above, the rolls were reversed! Let me bask in some good football either team!!

Helmet to helmet. Nice. :lol2:
Nahhh surely not! :lol2:
