Score was 39-6 when Cville pulled the varsity... Good win heading into to the play-offs. Campbellsville will host Pineville next week in the 1st round....
How did Kendon young look?
-
Last years Danville doesnt compare to this years Danville.
-
So against the two best teams they have played he has less than 100 yards combined. He's a great NAIA kid, which isn't a bad thing.
Hes D1 talent, you send Damien Harris down to cville and youll get a little bit better results but about the same against Danville and Williamsburg because of cvilles offensive line. As soon as Kendon touched the ball he was already being hit against danville. Heck his first few carries he was around -13 yards. I give them a lot of credit because they play with heart, but the size and athletism on the offensive line lacks a little bit. You send Kendon to a lexington or lousiville school, and hes a stand out player. Had a visit from charlie strong last year before he bolted for Texas. Remind you Kendon is only a Junior.

(2-6) Green County - DNP

This video shows what Timmy is notorious for. He gets a technical for a butt slap, but if you watch you will see him swat at a player's groin area (which is what he is known for).
I swear, any time someone has the chance to bring someone down they do it. I guess some people have nothing else better to do but bring down kids who are trying nothing more than to better themselves and their education. Anyways, congrats to you Mr. Taylor! Very good kid and fun to watch!

Take him to Lexington, Louisville, or Northern Kentucky and he's an average player.
Obviously you've never went and watched him play.

#1 Kendon Young with another huge game. Almost 300 rushing yards and 4 TDs on the night.
9 carries for 271 yards and 4 TDs, that's 30 yards a carry. His longest of the night was a 98 yard TD. I don't see how he's not getting much recognition. I understand the small school, but he has some talent.

Wow is all I can say. Heart breaking.
-
Where do you think he will be?
Marion County
-
The ramblings I am hearing out of lincoln is not somebody transferring in but somebody wanting to transfer out.
Who???
-
I think Danville will win by 14, but I hope Im wrong. I would like to see Campbellsville get on a roll here.
-
^ He missed the Green County game didn't he?
Yes he did
-
20 rushes for 357? wow.
Very impressive stat, but I would like to point out that last night Campbellsvilles Kendon Young had 9 rushes for 355 yards and 3 TDs.
-
Heck of a game by Young. It seemed like everyone wanted Young to get the ball just to see what he would do next. Totally different team with him on the field.
-
Kendon Young has 9 rushes for 355 yards and 3 TDs with 5:07 left in the 3rd quarter.
-
Kendon Young having a heck of a game. 95 yard TD run, 36-0 CHS
-
After the kick off, CHS Arrick Groves takes the first play from scrimmage 63 yards for a TD. 29-0 CHS
-
22-0 CHS halftime
-
Kendon Young takes the ball 39 yards but what had to of been about an 80 yard run for the TD. Welcome back Kendon.
-
After a long run by Young, Deston Ford scores on run. 15-0 CHS
-
After a Tavon Hunter interception. CHS Kendon Young takes his first play back 78 yards for a TD. Two point conversion good. 8-0 CHS
-
CHS wins 28-7

Itll be interesting to see Boyle Countys defense against Hiltons run game. Brandon Williams ran 21 times for 246 yards last week and he is a very big running back to bring down who has nice moves for his size. Overall TC ran 78 times for 504 yards. Went 2-3 passing for 50 yards. Do you think TC sticks with the run against BC defense?
When I say overall, I meant overall for last weeks game. They ran 78 times last week against Larue for 504 yards.

Campbellsville returns the majority of their players, but however lost their starting point guard via transfer to Marion County. Could be a tough and long season for the Eagles.
