Where is the district held at?

I really hope none of these players are commenting on here or even worried about what people are saying on here. Forums and post can really ruin a kids attitude. This is for fans of the game!!

This is where I disagree. He was going to block the shot attempt and hit the net before the ball hit the backboard. Plus the ref waited until the shot missed to make the call. It actually looked like interference in person until I saw the video. Doesn't look like it IMO now.

 

That didn't cost Boyle the game though. Too many points in the paint were left on the floor that night. That's why they lost. Held Lincoln to 45 points and couldn't win?

Haha I would agree! In person, yes it did. By the video it's very hard to tell where the balls exact location was at the time the net was hit. However, you're exactly right, if you hold Lincoln to 45 and don't get the win...that's got to be frustrating. Should be a very interesting district tournament.

I've seen the video, IMO it's the right call. It's just like smacking the backboard on a layup when there's no attempt on the play.

The ball was on the way up when the net was hit. The official was wrong.

The ball was still on its way towards the basket. Correct call.

Boyle should have beat them. Hagen going 2 for 16 and then that horrible goal tending call. Lincoln is playing really good ball and have some quality wins. 45th district race is going to get interesting

Explain how that was goaltending? The player clearly swatted at the net while the ball was going in. Correct call from the official.

I haven't seen Quentin Goodin yet but hope to here shortly.

 

Is he top 10 in the state and if so where would he fall?

 

I've heard nothing but great things about him.

I've seen Goodin play numerous of times, and he really does deserve to be in the Top 10. The one thing about him though is his teammates. Everyone on Taylor County's team knows their role. Coach Gatewood is doing a great job!

I must say, it escalated quickly LOL! Went from scoreboard, to ACT, to STD, to pregnancy. Kids didn't hold back, great rivalry.

Just curious to as why "Wireman" said they wouldn't have liked to have been at the game.
