    Jenna will make a big difference this year. Her shinning stars team had a couple NCC girls on it. I watch them play a few times and they looked pretty good. They picked up the Brock girl from dixie later in the season and won their last 3 tourneys. Jeana is an outstanding point guard.

    RCC9 that's great, if you guys have a good grade school program for basketball. I'm a little our of touch, just can't figure out why more girls don't play basketball. It's the greatest sport out there. I used to do some rec league reffing and it just doesn't seem the same number of girls are out there. Anyway I still enjoy going to some games the girls are tremendous athletes.

    RCC9, if it takrs MS kids to keep the program a float maybe you guys should reach down to the grade schoolers and form leagues to get other kids involved. Seems like over time your current system would fail.

    Ok now I'm going to reveal my age. I remember when freshmen couldn't play on varsity. So to answer the question, with wild west mentality in girls b ball, it's starting to resemble college ball. I love me some wildcats but understand why some people don't. The top notch programs will probably always stay there, parents will send their kids to them hoping for a d1 scholarship. So In the end I think the parents have changed the game, I just glad I don't have to raise kids in today's new age. But I will cheer for the underdog and the kids that stay in the same school.

    Most schools are moving up kids, it's the lastest fad. Younger girls are quicker and scrappy. When girls mature they lose some of their speed and agility. Some don't like to dive on the court anymore do to injuries. I still feel the better programs start jrs amd senoirs.

    Wow, JTrunick. I have watched both play a lot. No disrespect to Neace, but not even close to Owings. Totherim layed it out nicely. On her aau I'm not sure she is the best player, I would give thar to Tira from Holmes. However she is a nice player that will score a lot.
