The ingredient they seemed to be missing last night.
I would agree. When Henry and Johnson sat out most of the 2nd with 2 fouls each, CC played right with Mason. Different story in the 2nd half. CC just didn't have the horses inside to match up with both bigs.

Dre Jackson with 21... The most underrated player in the region.
There aren't very many (if any) players that can stop him in the open floor. He's very quick with some great moves and a killer cross-over. Like many high school age athletes he is his own worst enemy when things don't go well .... Has all of the tools; just needs to play with confidence.
-
Deondre Jackson leads CC with 13 at the half. Luke Franzen huge off the bench with 3 3-pointers for CC.
Johnson and Henry both in a bit of foul trouble for Mason with 2 each. Johnson with 8 at the half. Williams having a nice half with 11 points to lead Mason.

Campbell County jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back. Led by 10+ the entire game. 1st qtr. was the " Deondre Jackson Show" as he blitzed Scott for 14pts in the opening act and finished with 27. Holbrook added 16; Wilson 13; and Losey with 12. CC playing well as a team right now. Big week ahead with games against Harrison Co., Highlands, & Mason Co. Schneider led Scott with 12 in his first game back. Crim added 10 and Ohmer 9. Crim got into some foul trouble but is definitely a load in the interior. Ohmer didn't seem to look to score much tonight.
JV Score: CCHS 56 - Scott 46

... Like Baylor ? It's like watching 5 hi-liters running around the floor.

He's a very smart player and understands his role with this group. Doesn't look to score much but will take the open shot when he has it. Takes good care of the ball, plays hard-nosed defense, and always hustles. Great competitor.

Bach only had 8pts in the 1st half with Campbell County sending several defenders at him. He was more active in the 2nd half with 18 2nd half points; and he did struggle a bit from the free throw line. Holbrook and Jackson dominated the 1st half scoring both inside and out. Holbrook had 15 and Jackson 19 in the 1st half. Wilson was scoreless in the 1st half. Augusta came out in a triangle and 2 to start the 3rd quarter (on Holbrook and Jackson) and Campbell County started pounding it inside. Wilson finished strong with 23 including a nice alley oop dunk from Dre Jackson late in the 4th. When the "trio" is on Campbell is tough. If they can tighten up a bit on defense, they can be dangerous.
