Can anyone explain the new rule for playing up ? Does it start this year, has it been passed and what I heard if they are not plying up this year they can not move up ?

They lost Hannah Waganer the starting pitcher and two players who did not play a lot. They replace her with the eight grade pitcher Ariel Dailey and some form Hannah Wagner. Ariel has not lost to a District or Regional team this year. She beat Lafeyette twice this year 8-2 and 6-0.

Ok who do you like in the 10th Region Tournament? Bracken County, Bishop Brossart, Harrision County, Nicholas County, St Patrick, Campbell County, Montogomery County, Bourbon County, remember Harrison County has been ranked above Bourbon most of the year.

Who do you like Bourbon County or Montgomery County and why?

Vernon was a teacher not just to the girls but to all of the Bucket Dads who learned from him and how to handle the girls. I know on Bourbon Co he was working with Ariel Dailey, Hannah Waganer, Ally Sanderfur, and the catcher Kandice Green. He started with Ariel when she was 7 years old. She now pitches for Bourbon as a eight grader. She loved him like a grandfather and a great friend. I know he had a pitcher on Lafayette, Norte Dame, Ryle, East Jessimine, Woodfrod Co. , Clark Co, Montgomery Co, and all the gilrs who attented Blue Chip Camp. We not only did we lose a great teacher but a better person, he may be gone but will never be forgotten. My condolences to his family.

When will the players be named for the East / West All star game and all state players be named? Do you know where it will be posted?

I think bourbon beat Boone 21-7 with a lot of there JV after the first couple of innings. For most of the season Harrison County got more votes then Bourbon, and Bourbon beat them 10-3. You are correct the 9th and 10th region do play in the first round of the state tournament. So I guess we will see how that comes out.

Last night both pitchers had good nights Bourbons eight grade pitcher Ariel Dailey went 7 innings had 8 K's gave up 2 hits she also went 2/3 at the plate with a couple of doubles and 1 RBI for the night.

Aerosmith started she went 5 inings and then two different pitchers came in I don't know there name.

The 8 grader Ariel Dailey pitched last night for Bourbon last night, she had 8 k's and gave up 4 hits and 1 earn run.

Bourbon Lady Colonels scrimmage Bishop Brossart last Friday. I was wondering if any of the Bishop Brossart fans were at the game friday? I was wanting to get a report of the game and what they thouhgt of the Bourbon pitchers and there hitting. I did see were Bourbon scrimmage Lafayette on Friday and won 3-2.

What did you think about the scrimmage with Bishop Brossart with Bourbon County Last Fiday? What did you think about Bourbons pitching and hitting from that game? I would like a outside opinion.

While I found your vague statistics intriguing, I don't belive that to be true. I do know that Ariel was first or second in every offensive category except HR and stolen bases! By the way she did hit 2 HR last year as a 7th grader. And as a clutch player her play in the District and Region was great. With no errors, the only thing I have to say is D1 coaches think differently. Bottom line is ,talent wins out when it comes to postion battles, not whiny parents.

Bourbon county returns all but one stater from last year,Hailey Waganer the 1 pitcher from last year. But the offence is intact that scored 309 runs last season with a 31-10 record. They have five pitchers on the roster Hannah Waganger Jr, Ariel Dailey 8th, Allyson Sanderfur So, Cassie Poynter So, and Kierston Robinson. All of these pitchers played travel ball last season. Ariel Dailey pitched for the Central Kentucky Batcats and pitched her team to the ASA A State Championship againist the Louisville Lady Sluggers 14U and beat them. Hannah Waganer pitched for the Full Throttle 16U. The 8th Grader Ariel Dailey lead the team in hitting last year and is the real deal. Mercades Stanfield another big hitter for the colonels lead the team with home runs with 7. I look for a nother great season for the Lady Colonels.
