    Coach Arlo didn't coach third base last night because he is sick and had lost his voice. He has coached third the entire season with the exception of last night. Chris Riley coached third last night and has been with the program for several years.

    Agree, have heard from several he's a very good student but not a walk-on. D1 baseball coaches only have 11 or so full rides to spread over 30-35 players so they like finding kids with high academics.

    A reliable source indicates Ross was recruited as an OF but could possibly pitch or play IF depending on team needs. His versatility, arm strength and speed allow for that plus has a good bat.
