I rarely knock on players but is anyone else sick of hearing how good Lorenzen is? Talks of wanting to be greatest ever, wanting to be two way player, be a starter and comes across as a guy teammates would hate. Just get some people out. Hope he's been humbled this 2nd half because he's been awful

They have six guys on the offense that are outstanding at getting on base. If they can improve LF & CF a bit, they'll be a lot of fun to watch next year (obviously Cozart is probably gone), at least offensively.

Don't need my 4 hitter getting on base. In this case the LF you speak of. Need him hitting for power and driving in runs. Duvall has done that now 2 years in a row on fairly consistent basis.

I've listened to a bunch of them. Marty is a pain but he's absolutely the best at calling a game and it's not close. And he's not what he was 10 years ago. Scully may set a romantic scene but Marty calls play better. Scully has said if he has to listen to a game he'd want Marty to call it.

That said, jim Day did game other night, I think his first on radio and I thought he did very well.

The "clown" had great 2016. Not so much this year but you see that a lot with relievers. Don't dump him yet. See what happens in 2018.

He has to learn to spot and take off total velocity on his pitches. Plus his mechanics suck which is why I get upset when I watch him.

Funny, I talked to one assistant from both teams, both of whom are friends. Ryle said they were worried about CCH qb, because of his arm and scrambling that they may not see combo again this year. CCH coach was worried about their own O line. Interesting how two different people hear two different things.

Either way, can't be there because of work but one guarantee. It will be packed and atmosphere will be the best of the year for NKY game.I know many alumni from cch are headed down.

Everyone knew the Cubs were going to score. Time for the Reds to man up and score some more. They quit after nine runs. Typical Reds.

This team is a lot of things but quitters they are not. They manned up just for you, must have been reading BGP during game.

When you put up A 9 RUN lead, you'd get a little flustered as well knowing you have to score 6 or more most nights to win.

Never have seen a thread on here about statues bothering anyone, now all of a sudden it's the media's hot topic, one they won't drop. I've read many a book on the civil war, it has always been a favorite subject of mine. I've always read as a North supporter although my favorite General is Longstreet.

Many of these statues were erected as a matter of southern pride. Lee would have gone Union but he could not attack his beloved Virginia. Many people are offended by his and others being celebrated. However, many aren't. Problem is, in America today it seems unless you agree with one side, you don't matter or your considered racist, fascist, etc... your typecast. There's no discussion going on, you either think one way or get out of the way.

I'm not condoning the white supremists, they're clowns in my eyes. They do though, have the right to protest just like BLM and any others AS LONG AS IT'S PEACEFUL.

I feel like I'm rambling but I guess my point is, there are idiots on both sides. That's not changing... ever. But I can say as a middle aged white male, I'm really tired of the one way discussion. Making me feel things I didn't feel growing up. Kevin Durant said today he's not going to see "the president" but those aren't the words he used. If an athlete came out and said he'd be honored to go see our president, he'd be crucified by the media and on social media.

I have no problem with these statues but I don't offend easily, or haven't most of my life. I just know that in many eyes, I'm an idiot, insensitive and many other labels I won't get into. And yes, when you listen to XM or pick up games while traveling, you realize how good we have it in Cindy when it comes to announcers.

This Reds team isn't ready to play a team like Nationals and you know that. Reds are rebuilding. Nats are contender for WS. Quit. In 3 years it will be completely different. Nats have thrown two pitchers who have completely dominated everyone all year.

Although not successful as a "supergroup" this song absolutely kicks butt, and I like this version better than the original from Mott The Hoople.
