Who said they were no good?? D1 is obviously not the only option. My sons (although not RB's) will have 3 or 4 options on how to pay for school, only one of which involves football and that is at a D3 school. I couldn't be more proud. Most of this thread isn't even about D1 ball so I don't get the "page 19" reference. We've had a lively discussion of offensive lines, combines and stats up until the last page or so.

First of all I never said u said anything? And if you read all 19 pages of this thread count how many times D1 was brought up, nothing about any other option. My reference to the "pg 19" thing is we are now on page 19 and it seems like it's on repeat, d1 this and d1 that. Good luck to your boys this year I'm sure they will do great!

Who cares??????? Is D1 the only option to get your college paid for???? How do u guys know some of these kids won't go to college and get and get an academic scholarship and still play football??? For the love of God just let them be high school football players and stop acting like if they don't get go d1 that means they are no good! I cannot believe this crap is on page 19 and people are still talking about it.

Funny thing about high school football underclassmen become upperclassmen and get better. Holy Cross was a very young football team last year with the majority of the team being sophomores. With that being said those 2nd team players are the same players that will have to tackle Abernathy for the next 2 years. Don't get me wrong HC sucked the past 2 years but they won't suck these next 2 years.

Never said that they sucked, but I will say is NCC has 14 -16 juniors playing this yr, which means a majority of them was also sophomores. I'm just saying imo Abernathy is not better than Smith, Powell, England at least not this year.

TCA is gonna have something to say about that.

I'll say it again... Holy Cross has the most talent at the RB position with the 220lbs duo of Barnes and Abernathy... Both are in the class of 2017.

Sorry but I will have to disagree with you on this post. Smith had 5 tds against HC, Abernathy was able to run the ball well in the 2nd team came in. I'm not trying to say the kid is not good but he is not better than Smith.

You are missing it then. I don't see any of us bashing every program or kids at all. Actually I have said over and over again how good I think Racke and Powell are etc. there is only one person on this site that bashes every other team that doesn't have SK on their helmets and belittles them all as well as

their players.

Allow me to enlighten you to the type of posts the guy you are defending posts. Last year Cooper scrimmaged Dixie before the start of

the season. UK posted in the Cooper/Dixie scrimmage thread that "The best players at the game

were the SK players that were in the stands"

My take from 16 pages of this and I have no dog in the fight....... there are so many people who "dislike" 1 fan that they sit on a blog site and continuously bash a program who has kids who do nothing but get out there and bust their behinds day after day, week after week just to have people saying they do not deserve respect because they are not a top tier team. Chief of Police did a radio interview an hour or so ago. Was asked if he seen the video, he answered yes. Was asked if it was bad and if it's something the National news is going to show over and over, he answered yes to both questions. The video will be released by Thurs at the latest. He also stated they will give the people of Cincinnati room to protest peacefully and voice their opinions but will not tolerate any vandalism or harm to property or other people.

SK only uses a 3 down linemen so maybe they agreed to let them work on 8 dropping back?

That's prob what happened because they were doing the same defense in the 7 on 7 against NCC. Yes, the coaches agreed to it no issues there.

What seems to be the problem, he answered your question. What answer are you looking for? This is high school football not t-ball. We did play a lot of players and the last time I checked it was the other teams responsibility to stop us.

That's what I thought, but if someone thinks NCC, Scott and Lloyd can beat Cooper - well, that threw me but I guess that's why they play the games.

 

6A in NKy looks like this: Conner, Cooper, and Ryle are one group. SK, Cambell Co. and Boone Co. are the other.

Well it can't be the district choice because CC, Ryle and SK are in the same district as well as NCC and Lloyd. I think it's their own opinions if I'm not mistaken.
