  1. Ok, I simply cannot take your misconceptions and lack of anything that resembles the facts any longer. This is Ethan's dad, and my one and only post will be to once and for all hopefully put this to rest. This decision was made final in the car coming back from a baseball tournament in Michigan memorial day weekend, I had placed a June 1 deadline on it. We weighed the pros and cons, and somewhere around Dayton he simply said that BW was the best fit. Its a shame I have to get on here to protect his and our families integrity but so be it. We then discussed the best way to make it public, and who we felt deserved notification. E wanted to tell Coach Partin face to face, and asked me if I would call Coach Steiner, which I agreed to do. He did it like a man, and I applaud Partin for his handling of it, first class. We also called our best friends in the district, those closest to us, and told them. E did what he had to do, he worked out with SK right up until the decision was made. At the end of the day, he simply felt BW was the best fit. His dream is to play D1 college baseball, and he plays for Midland in the summer. He felt a smaller school would grant him more flexibility in July to miss an occasional football practice. Add to that his best friends are Brayden Combs and Logan and Chase Bright. and it was just too much to pass on. I know you want to believe in all your conspiracy theories, but please use them elsewhere and stay out of my families business, its not your concern. this possibility was known by all involved, it was no secret. If we were asked, our answer was simply that as of the moment he was at SK, and unless something changed it would remain. I simply laugh at your rendition and version of the SK staffs involvement in the youth programs. We were at South Kenton for 7 years, and I can count on one hand the times we saw the head football coach. That is not the way I would run a feeder program, and may go miles to explain the occasional transfers.
