  1. Johnson from Dixie is #1 DL on Scout.com for KY. Odd not listed
  2. Isn't that what they tried last time? What would be different?
  3. Yeah, also a talented shot put thrower. 3rd in state. Is there any State Champions on SK's team? There's at least 1 on Dixie's! :thumb:
  4. That's funny! Branden wrestled since he was 5 years old in the raider youth program with Belk and Mieman. He had always had 1 goal....a title. Last year when he won that he told all of his coaches (Simmons -retired) he was done. Kid is getting ready for the next step in his life...D1 Football! I do know his parents and dad coaches Football. They have another son who wrestles really well and even a little girl who placed at youth state a few years ago. Trust me, Branden has chosen this path on his own.
  5. I knew Dixie laid the wood to SK....but I didn't think it was this bad. They're better than I even thought!
  6. Careful nothing. I've watched Olmstead and Vercheak double Johnson on stunts where he edge rushes. I've Seen Johnson doubled by Ensweiler and Olmstead/center. I've seen the SK line allow Johnson in for a RB screen. Point is this. If you want a 'Neer to go head to head with Johnson, You'd better use you're best (Olmstead). And when you do so, get ready for the ground to shake. BTW. I've also see Owen Sammons run right past Olmstead like he was standing still.
  7. Get ahold of some game film. Olmstead was over johnson in the last match. They only will be head to head if SK moves him to G. And if you do this, Machlitt will eat whatever tackle you put there. No 'Neer can stop Johnson 1 on 1. He's a player you have to plan around. Kind of like your doing here.
  8. Well since you asked for it... Dixie has beaten ALL 6A NKY teams. They (we) have a good vantage point to judge talent and ability in NKY 6A. Ryle played Dixie, the district champs, hard. They had determination until the last whistle.
  9. It's strategy. If SK looses, it will be that they made a few mistakes and a team Full of future MVP'S are the ones who narrowly escaped with a W. If SK wins, they beat the best possible team in the state. It's methodical and tired.
  10. I was on the board for the Dixie Raiders for several years. First you attend 3 regular meetings to become a Member at Large. Once this happens you have to attend regularly and when a vacancy opens up, the standing board votes to allow you in. As far as the Good Ole Boys.... I came into it not knowing ANYBODY. Was at large for a couple months and member for few years. You may have to buy a round here or there though.
  11. Your post #29 & 32 are laughable. Perhaps you should remember back to a few weeks ago before you question how people could possibly think Dixie as a favorite. Also, nobody believes that England was 100% and didn't play because he wasn't needed. I hope the kid is well rested because if he thought he took some bumps when Dixie wasn't focused on the ground attack from Ryle, well this week won't be any easier. Both programs are moving in the right direction, lets leave it at that until Friday night.
  12. Washington OL. Riedmatter TE. Cundiff (B. Johnson little brother) DL
