The W-F sessions need to begin earlier, 10:30 and Noon and 4:30 and 6:00.

Saturday can be something like 2:00 and 3:30. Championship begins at Noon Sunday. If your attending any of the games you are likely off work anyway so moving the times up doesn't hurt.

OR just go back to the old Saturday Night Championship.

As someone that's been attending every game for close to the last 10 years the new format is not only costlier but more exhausting. With the times I proposed people that are staying for the entire tournament would have their evenings more available to enjoy themselves. Also they wouldn't have to wait around for a 2:00 championship game on Sunday.

I also believe that the NCAA Tournament didn't hurt the Sweet 16 as much as it may have helped it. This year there was nothing to watch on TV between sessions or in the evenings after the Sweet 16 games conlcuded. I think having the Sweet 16 during March Madness creates an awesome atmosphere in Lexington.

Does he have two years remaining? I know he redshirted as a freshman due to his acl injury. But does he still have his senior year to be able to play, plus his grad transfer year?

I wonder if Calipari goes after him as a Perimeter shooter. Very polished player that will help someone Big time next year.

I know coming out of HS Bolden was a huge UK fan and I believe called it his dream school at one point. Cal could certainly use his leadership and shooting. I’ll never forget when Bolden as a sophomore faced off against Senior Dominique Hawkins in the State Tournament and in my opinion out played him.

Whoever gets Beetle is getting someone that will help their program in a big way.

Junior guard James Bolden has decided to leave the WVU program and become a grad transfer.

Great kid, great player and a warrior on the court. West Virginia is a mess right now and Bolden has had an injury plagued season as well. Can’t blame him for leaving. I’d love to see him finish his career out closer to home, NKU maybe.

For me he’s the most exciting player to come out of NKY in the last 10 years.

NKU wins their 5th straight. Vogt led the way with 20 points, 14 boards and 3 blocks. That’s huge for his confidence not only for the rest of this year, but moving forward after McDonald graduates.

I think the biggest thing to like about Roark other than his durability is the fact he’s a proven MLB pitcher. How many of those do the Reds currently have? Also Tanner Rainey had a big arm, but looked lost last year in limited appearances.

Just curious how that works. Didn't think other schools could be involved in discussing a player transferring until they've officially put in their transfer papers, or something like that.

Once an athlete notifies the school of intent to transfer, the school (UK in this instance) have two days to enter the transferring athlete into the NCAA portal. This portal allows the transfer to be recruited again just as if they were still in HS, it's a more ethical approach than it was before. Schools can constantly monitor the portal and reach out to an athlete if they are interested in them. This method gives the athlete more control than the school, it also puts an end to restricting an athlete from transferring to certain school.

Cal is superstar dependent and is being exposed without it. Next year might be worse.

I don’t know how good they’ll be next year because I don’t know who will be coming back. What I do know is that Tyrese Maxey and Kahlil Whitney are both superstar caliber players. Seems like Cal has been getting second tier five stars, Maxey and Whitney are the cream of the crop.

Holding my judgement on Holmes until after they play Newport. Their 3 wins are against teams with a combined record of 3-10. And I think they got off to similar starts the last two seasons too.

The difference is Listerman is no longer sitting on the sidelines. There is really no comparing this Bulldog team to the ones of the last few years. While the talent level still may be a little down Coach Carr does a fantastic job of playing to Holmes strengths. They are fast and athletic and the other teams will feel it this year.

Pouncy/Green for Holmes. I’d say Pouncy is more of the PG but they both handle the ball.

I haven’t seen many games but Dixie’s PG has to be one of if not the best.

Holmes has a nice mix of talent. They are fast and relentless on D. Really impressed with Green and Pouncy, both are poised and very good players. Is Green new to the team, I’ve never heard much about him and he has to be one of the best guards in the region. Calloway is a huge spark off the bench with unlimited range and crazy athleticism. I love seeing the bulldogs posing a threat to teams once again.

I had this game on just long enough to see that it was being played at the United Center. I'll be attending the Champions classic in a couple weeks at the United Center, my fiance grew up in Columbus and is a big fan of the buckeyes and I'm a UK fan. Hopefully this game makes them a little more comfortable and gives them a slight advantage in their game against the Bruins, I really dislike UCLA.

I'm glad for the kid. Kentucky was always chasing Nebraska. As a huge UK Football fan and season ticket holder this move doesn't bother me. I never expected to get him anyways and now that all is said and done it makes me happy to know that Robinson is going to the place that makes him happy.

Kentucky recruits and develops, they have an awesome class coming in. They also have many play-makers returning, and many of whom red-shirted that can be special players. Robinson is a game changer but Kentucky's outlook for the next several years hasn't changed because of this one decision.

UK has now missed on the top 6 players in KY. Strange considering the historic season.

Depends on which site you go by. Rivals has Weaver as the 3rd best player in KY, ahead of Robinson. Casey is 7th, Crumes is 9.

In many years Weaver, Casey, Crumes could be the top 3 players in the state. This years class was loaded, Kentucky did very well getting play makers from outside the state to take away the sting of missing on some of the top KY kids this year.

Travis Tisdale is committed to UK as the 12th best all purpose back. Moses Douglas just moved up to 4 star status and into the top 250. Javonte Richardson is possibly the best JUCO WR in the nation and committed to UK. JJ Weaver is the 13th best DE and committed to UK. Jared Casey will be a cat after tomorrow, he's a 4 star LB. Kentucky is also making a push for Devonte Lee the 7th best athlete in the nation. Stoops probably has more potential game changing play makers in this class than any of his other classes.

This de-commitment shouldn't take away from what is a very nice recruiting class for UK.

Stamper and Maggie Jones is the PG. The are both really great players that have been contributing for a couple years now, still only Juniors. The other two names I'd say to watch for, without seeing them yet this year, is Webb and Vickers.

Very surprised there are no game threads for the SK v Ryle game or the one this past saturday, given how SK is traditionally one of the top teams in the state.

Should be able to get a better gauge on Holmes this Saturday as they scrimmage Western Hills. Holmes opens up Monday at Galliton County.

I'm to the point where I believe they may need a whole new fresh start after this year. Fire Marvin. Try to trade Dalton and Green. The new coach will get more draft picks, and the team will have extra money to sure up the o line and defense more with the money saved from not having Dalton and Greens contracts. Extend Driskell on a small 3 year deal and let him start next year. If he does good awesome, you got him on the cheap. If he sucks, then well they should be in a great draft spot to be in for the possible loaded QB class that will come out in 2 years.

Jeff Driskel was the number one QB in his class and the 17th best player. I know rankings mean squat but there’s obviously been some talent there for a while with him.

He’s obviously a talented kid that has played well against third string competition in his limited opportunities. He is intriguing to me though with his skill set on a team with a horrible offensive line.

He’s a guy that was a top 300 player nationally as a HS receiver that chose to play basketball in college at Iowa.

He came to UK to give Football one last shot. Everything I’ve ever read says he is 6’7” including his profile from his University of Iowa days. It’s weird though how most people keep saying he’s only 6’4”. I’m confident saying he’s closer to 6’7” and I’ve seen him up close several times at UK games this season.

Terry Wilson is 7-1 as the starter of UK and it’s his first year in the SEC. Yet UK fans still aren’t happy. It’s not always pretty but he’s winning games. Inserting Hoak killed any chance UK had of winning that game, and yet they still won lol.

I was praying they’d throw it on the last play, and they did. Snell at this point is still awesome but Gran needs to adapt and know that he can’t win games by putting it on Benny’s back anymore. Not until defenses soften back up.
