This is a totally incorrect statement. It's a Boone county schools rule.

To clarify the county will only allow a pull up if they are on the varsity roster. If the freshman team only had say 8 players they are not even allowed to pull up freshman to fill in the roster.

To clarify' date=' Boone county "HS" doesn't move MS players up to varsity; however, Conner/Cooper/Ryle allow it. The "unwritten" rule at Conner is/was, a MS 'er can move up to Varsity "IF" they are good enough to play significant minutes. It's not fair the the player to sit the bench and also not fair to take a HS roster spot from another kid that's perfectly capable of sitting the bench.[/quote']

I suppose the same could be said for SK, 9 of the 14 wins over the last two years are against 5A or lower teams. Against 6A teams the record is 5-4.

Just throwing this out there, maybe they lost their job due to the "racial tension" mentioned among this community and the only way to help ease that is to fire these two officers. Not saying they were in the right or wrong that is not for me to decide. We have no idea the rest of the story. Simply stating they were wrong because they lost their job is assuming a lot. The lady clearly resisted arrest and they used force to cuff her. I would guess there is more we don't know than we know.

I hope it stays the same. Why have a middle school basketball Sweet 16? Save it for when they are in high school. The current conference system works well imo.
