  1. I will help on the first point, fastball21 is affiliated with Ryle.

And as far as consent to broadcast, again, if Ryle has been doing it for two years I think Conner owed it to Ryle to say no long before Friday rolled around.

Thanks you for the help. Just because they have been doing it for two years doesn't mean prior consent is not needed. I agree if they knew prior to the game they owed it to them to say something beofore friday. However, to show up and assume you have the right at someone's venue is another thing. Which is it in this case?

  2. Since Ryle is 6A and Conner is 5A the simple solution for Ryle would be not to play Conner again.

And if Ryle was not told ahead of time (before Friday) by Conner (and it is Conner everyone, not Connor) that is very bush league.

We are all assuming this crew was affiliated with Ryle and had prior permission. Are they and did they needs to be address prior to calling/ labeling this move as bush league.

  3. The game was at Conner. We were on top of the pressbox and not in anyone's way. We were told half way through the first quarter to pull the plug on the video. We have been broadcasting games for over 2 years and EVERY school that we have been to from Highlands to Henry Clay has been VERY accommodating. Many grandparents, aunts and uncles and servicemen/women want to watch their grandson, son or daugter play.

Are you affiliated with Ihigh or Ryle?

  4. My sources close to the Conner program have advised me that Jordan Scott today has verbally commited to play her college ball at Kentucky Wesleyan. Congratulations Jordan! I hope you have an outstanding senior year at Conner and much success in your future at Wesleyan.

I also heard this from a very reliable source. Congrats to Jordan!

  5. Win the 33rd District? Decent to good chance. Finish on the top of Region 9? Kind of seems like a long shot. Conner will be good, and will win a lot of games, however, I would be highly surprised to see them win the 9th.

Off course, sometimes long shots go in. We'll see...

I wouldn't call Conner a long shot in the ninth. They are top 5 at least and to me that is not a long shot to win it.

  6. Just my opinion but I think a player should have sit out no matter what the circumstances may be. Making the right decision in the best interest of a child is always the right thing to do but that should come with all of the responsibilities in making that decision. I understand that there seems to have been some disagreements between coaches and player/parents but it should not come at the expense of all the other kids at every other school who in some instances does not chose to leave the school dispite the challenges. I wish this young lady the best of luck in the future but in my opinion she should not be allowed to compete for one year based on the rules. That of course is based on this thread stating she is leaving Ryle. It does seem to me that Ryle continues to lose players, if Iam not mistaken this will be 4 out of 5 years a player or players chose to leave this program??????

I disagree that a player should sit for any circumstance. What if a parent is relocated and they have no choice but to move? I don’t think a child should have to sit out for this but in your opinion they should, why?

  7. Obviously they will not be able to replace Crittenden, but the Smith girl will be very good, the one that plays softball. She will be a force in the middle and is only going to be a sophomore this year. I know they lost Cheesman too but they have a couple nice guards coming back too and Oliverio as well. It will definitely be a tough district as usual with Ryle, Boone and Conner.

I heard rumblings that Smith was transfering any truth to that? Additionally, I wouldn't call her a force just yet still needs some develpoment but tons of upside!
