Florida State may not be the best out of Alabama and Georgia, but I still believe they were robbed of the #4 spot based on the purpose of what the playoff was created for as it is in its last format of 4, particularly dubbing the “power conferences” as they did. I know that the ACC obviously wasn’t as strong this season, but it’s disrespectful and a joke in my opinion.

We are 10 minutes away it is interesting all of the people on the ESPN panel except one person has the following:
Michigan
Washington
Texas
Florida State
One person has Bama instead of Fla. State. It looks like they all think Texas is in and it is between Bama and Florida State for the #4 spot. We will see. If the SEC is left out (which I think there is a legit case for it) I am going to get some popcorn in and tune into the SEC Network from 3-7 tomorrow to watch the Paul Finebaum show. It should be must watch tv. lol
This is how I thought it might be.

I didn’t mean it. Just annoyed with this season.
I get it. Look at it on the bright side, Louisville won 10 games in Brohm’s first season. What sucks is if they had a halfway consistent and good quarterback they could very possibly be undefeated. I still feel good about the future.

Michigan played a very good game, Iowa….not so much. The Hawkeyes looked bad, don’t really know how they were ranked what they are.

One question - does anyone think FSU can stay withn 3 TD's of any of the other schools in contention for the final 4?
Probably not, they could possibly play Washington a little closer but I think Washington has a lot of weapons offensively though.

Jack Plummer was on FULL exposure of his bad side practically all game. Credit Florida State’s defense for a good part of it though. If Plummer is pressured or out of the pocket, it’s usually a bad thing. I believe Florida State belongs in the playoff though.

The turnovers were crushers for Cooper with the points Bowling Green got from them. Congratulations to Bowling Green on your championship and to Cooper on a very nice season.

Things will be very interesting tomorrow if Louisville beats Florida State. Committee could have their hands full.

Congratulations to Trinity on #28 and to Bryan Station on a nice season.

Alabama looks better so far, will be interesting to see how the next half is. If Alabama were to beat Georgia convincingly, Georgia may be left out depending on how the rest of everything goes.

Congratulations to CAL on the championship. Don’t know how the rest of the game went for Bell County after their first drive but it sounds like they at least had a good game plan with clock consumption. Congratulations to both teams on great seasons.

Texas did look good today but I would have liked seeing it against someone other than Oklahoma State, but it’s the Big XII so it is what it is.

That was easy money in my opinion Washington getting nearly 10 points.
I don’t know why so many thought Oregon was going to win. I really thought Washington would win again. Oregon is definitely a very good team, but I do believe Washington is more complete.

Final.
Washington will be playoff bound, which doesn’t surprise me at all. Many thought Oregon was winning this unquestionably almost, at least seemed like this. Washington is not a joke, they will be a tough out for anyone playing them.

Congratulations to Boyle County on a very impressive championship win and season, as well as to Covington Catholic on a great season. Plenty have said it, myself included, but Boyle County is the best team in all of Kentucky high school football this year, and very well may be next year. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but I truly believe that Boyle County answered any questions had by anyone else about them, because Covington Catholic has a very good football team and it’s not like them to lose this way at this point of the season. Congratulations again to both teams on excellent seasons and to the Rebels on your most impressive championship ever, which says a lot.

Boyle County is just a monster, not that this hasn’t been known.

For Mayfield to give this many points up, Owensboro Catholic must have been very good. Congratulations to Mayfield on the championship and to OC on a great season.
Has anyone ever played a three game stretch in the postseason, state championship included this tough as what Mayfield has done? Seriously, Mayfield deserves A LOT of credit for how they got to the championship and won. Congratulations to both teams again on awesome seasons!

If Mayfield scores a touchdown here the lights can be hit for OC.

This could get ugly quick if OC doesn’t stop Mayfield now.

I look forward to seeing how this one goes. Good luck to both teams!

Congratulations on the state championship to Pikeville and to Raceland on another great season. I really believe when Raceland fumbled giving them the longer conversation yards late in the second quarter was big because of how good their drive was before it. With saying that, Pikeville was nails all game on defense. Plays like that can make or break a big game.
