  1. I was completely shocked that all three trials were tried in Warren County. Defense counsel filed a motion to change venues, if I remember correctly, but it was denied.

Actually for the third trial the prosecution filed for a change of venue not the defense. The change of venue was denied because,,,,get this,,,,,,, the State is not guaranteed a fair trial, only the defendant is guaranteed a fair trial.

  2. You've never misspoke, especially in the heat of an insanely intense scary situation? Happens all the time. How come when police interview multiple witnesses to a crime they almost always get numerous variations of the story? I mean, they were all there right? How can they not be 100% accurate?

Then Ryan should have testified and explained himself, but he didn’t. He had 3 trials to explain his side of the story. This man has lied for 2 ½ years, he killed a women he claimed he loved and bankrupted his parents. May he rot in Hell.

  3. 1) No idea when or how the handprint was made. That could easily be explained away.

    2) How do you know what those "sirens" were for? I hear sirens all the time in the distance, doesn't tie to the case.

    3) Dry body and wet hair is weak evidence. When women take baths (or showers), the hair is usually still wet a good hour later unless they blow dry their hair. Maybe he wrapped her in a towel when he got her out of the tub? Way too much doubt.

You are bringing up doubt, not reasonable doubt. The most compelling evidence is the 911 call where he says he found her face down in the tub. That is not "reasonable". Nobody has or can explain how that happened.

  4. 911 call Ryan says he found her face down in the tub. Did you see the pictures of this tub? How is that possible? He gets her out of the tub and you can hear sirens in the background of the 911 call, but her body is dry and the floor is dry but her hair is wet. They found Sara’s hand prints on the “wall” side of the tub. On that evidence alone I would say guilty beyond a reasonably doubt.

  5. For those of you who want the ban, why do you believe that 2nd hand smoke is going to kill you? If you go on the web you can find all kinds of studies (one paid for by the American Cancer Society) that don't have any conclusions, they are mostly theories (remember global warming?). I know that you have all heard the propaganda, but it’s just that, propaganda.

The American Cancer Society and the American Lung Association are lobbying Public officials for smoking bans. Those two groups are backed financially, in large part, by the pharmaceutical companies that make the “quit smoking aids” that don’t work! It’s all about the money!

  6. So privately funded places should able to make up their own rules? Minors could be served? They can stay open all night if they wanted? They could continue to serve an obviously drunk person about to drive? Some laws are put into place for the protection of people. Whether it be someone else or yourself.

This is the kind of "hype" the pro ban folks do. They compare smoking in a bar to an actual crime! Really,,, driving drunk being compared to smoking?

  7. I used to be against smoking bans on principle, but it is so much better to go to bars in smoke free areas that I can't understand why these laws aren't even more widespread than they are now.

Economics is working in Campbell County. 70% of all bars and restaurants are currently smoke free. It will be overturned, Commissioner Ego,, I mean Otto, lost his seat because of his support for the smoking ban.

  8. Being in the logistics business for close to 20 years and in charge of a logistics budget of $15m+ annually I can honestly say I have never chosen a freight forwarder because I liked their slogan. I can also tell you that UPS, FedEx and DHL used to be way above the other shipping companies, but over the past 3 years they are all about the same, and that isn’t a good thing. My advice, if you need to send anything domestically, just use the United States Postal Service, trust me, they are no different that the Big Boys.

  9. I was thinking HC with the upset, but some posters said they had ZERO chance so I guess they won't. Sorry HC, good year.

Those posters were not Newcath faithful I can assure you! I can tell you that this will be a battle and Newcath better take care of the football and make sure the Zebra’s keep the flag’s in their pocket to win this game. I think this game is going to be a precursor to many regular season and regional finial games similar to the battles between Newcath and Beechwood in 1A. I think Newcath will win this by a small margin, but I would not be surprised by a Holy Cross win.

  10. Question: What determines a team's percentage or score? For example, Newport Central Catholic is #1 in 2A with a 74.7 and Beechwood is #2 in 1A with a score of 68.5. I can recall Beechwood beating Newport Central Catholic about 3 weeks ago. I think 2A is up for grabs and it could be any of 10 teams to win it. Therefore, I feel that Newport Central Catholic's percentage should NOT be well above anyone else in 2A.

Newcath did beat both CovCath and Dixie and Beechwood lost to both of those teams.

  11. This series between Newcath and Beechwood was conceived by Bob Schneider and Noel Rash after Newcath’s move up to 2A. The purpose of this series was to prepare each team for the tough situations that will occur in the playoffs. Can everyone agree that this objective has been reached?

This whole thread reminds me of the JFK conspiracy:

    Photo’s = Zapruder Film

    The Track = Grassy Knoll

    The Referee = Warren Commission

    Announcer = Walter Cronkite
