Not exactly the finish that Legacy was hoping for. We simply could not find any consistency. Our Starting point guard returned to the court last Monday after missing eight weeks due to a broken ankle. She only had two practices with the team going into the tourney and was limited to short stints of playing time. The girls competed hard but simply were not themselves. No excuses, this is a team sport and I am sure many teams had players out due to injury. We will finish our season in an exposure event in Atlanta in two weeks. The girls then get a much deserved break before tryouts in September and another run at a national championship. There is definitely a whole lot of talent in Ky at the seventh grade level. Good luck to all the teams going forward and way to represent Kentucky this week at nationals.

Legacy 7th grade won KY AAU D1 state championship in 2012 (6th grade) and 2013 (7th grade). Six of those 11 girls also won it in 2011 (5th grade) with Lady Knights.
