I think many will be surprised when they see LCA in the finals. It's easy to say that other teams will beat them, but when you see them in action you will see what everyone in this side of the state is talking about.

 

Mayfield and Beechwood are very close and it wouldn't surprise me to see either one win their game. I wouldn't argue with these two being flip flopped, but I would give Mayfield a slight advantage right now. This game should definitely be the best of the two simi-finals in 1A.

 

Hazard is number four, a good team, but in a year with a great team in their side of the bracket.

Totally agree...have to get Mayfield's skill players a slight nod...very close imo!

What if mayfield doesn't fumble on two of first three possessions...lots of quick momentum swings!

I think shelton has like 15 big returns and like 6 tds...guess they don't think its that important

Hopefully Mayfield got the fumbles and missed blocks out of their system!

So if it is a regular kickoff then they have 3 options...someone needs to mention this to Coach Joe!

Crittendon kicked every kickoff/punt out of bounds it seemed. Mayfield takes ball at 35 yd line...is there another option?

In KY, do teams have the option to take ball on 35 yd line or decline and have team rekick from 5 yards back?

No one wants to kick to Shelton for Mayfield and I know in some states it is an option? I assume the Mayfield coaches know the rules, but just wondering!
