Give me a break WKY. Read all my posts. Where was I out of line? Just because its my opinion they'll win by 3 TDs, does that make me a bad poster. If anything, I was the one that got attacked, but, never did I show disrespect for anyone or for there team. It's just how I feel it'll turn out. If this were a Highlands/Pulaski thread and someone said they felt Highlands would win by 21 to 28 pts, noone would say a word.

 

Not out of line at all...I was just tryin to lighten the mood... I hope they win by 5 TD's...everyone does have their own opinion, it's what makes BGP great...no sense in arguing with Crunch is what I was meaning to get across!

Thought this was a message board for these type discussions, guess I was wrong. Guess it's a board for discussions only if you're a Beechwood fan and feel they're going to win. I pay my annual fee just like the rest, so, I'd suggest not reading my post if they're gonna get you all tore up. I'm sure Beechwood will show up & feel they'll have something to prove, just like Mayfield will. Can't wait to see it.

Moon Palace is about 30 mins for anything else and I too spent my honeymoon there...Almost went to this event, but backed out at last minute.

Knew it was small and thought it might be a great way to meet/greet some of the players...which it looks like several fans are...

Impressive is the 1200 packages sold, 1005 went to UK fans! Cleveland St sold ZERO, Yes, ZERO!

Worst experience of my life...:ohbrother: I was totally in another world and felt like I was floating and could see everything that went on, really odd experience for me...The aftercare was easy, just DON'T SUCK and KEEP THE HOLES CLEAN to avoid dry socket! Took one pain pill and never needed another!

Do you think coming down the night before eliminates the road trip issue? The only bus ride Friday will be from the hotel to the stadium.

Where is Beechwood stayin? Neither hotel is great...Paducah would be 30 mins to stadium.

Biggest mistake people make with Christmas lights is they overload the fuse. Connect no more than 3 strands together and you should be fine.

First of all, it's WAAAAAYYYYYYY too early to be doing any Christmas decorating. :lol:

Second of all, if it weren't for my daughter, we wouldn't even have a tree. :lol: She is the one who puts it up and decorates it. I usually get stuck taking it down. :cry:

 

No outside decorations, though. I think she'd put them up, but I won't spring the money for them, thefore she is THWARTED!:banana:

Totally agree, but we are going home Wednesday and won't be back til Sunday night...if we don't do it today...it might not happen!

I love the holiday season and what it means, but HATE decorating and getting box upon box from the attic!

It NEVER fails...for 5 years of being married I am in charge of putting lights on our tree. We use ALOT of lights...EVERY SINGLE year it seems like everything is going smoothly and then boom...3/4 of the way done with the lights a strand goes bad and all the lights go out!!!:idunno:

I just knew it was going to happen this year and decided to not get upset...1/2 hour in to putting the lights on and BOOM...Out they go!

So far, this is the most civil thread I think I've ever seen between two teams. :thumb: I really wish this game was at BW.

I know knowledable Mayfield fans have REALLY enjoyed watchin this team versus last years Cardinals...Assistant Coach Cliff Dew coming back from Mississippi has really made a HUGE impact in the discipline of Mayfield.

They really enjoy playing and play hard EVERY down which is a change for other teams in recent years!

Win or lose, this Mayfield team is good...we expect to win over the Beechies on Friday night, but if not we will shake their hands and root for them next week in BG!:thumb:

What the best thing you've picked up at a sale and sold? Use to do that and really enjoyed it!

Have been to Mayfield and have witnessed a game there.

 

Older style stadium and if I were to compare stadiums (to NKy) I would say Ludlow or Newport with the concrete! Difference is that neither Ludlow/Newport have the visitors section on the other side of the field!

 

Not as nice/new or as big as Ryle but think of Ryle as you walk into their stadium! You are at the top looking down to the field.

 

I sat with the Mayfield fans so I can't tell you about the visitors side.

 

Folks were extremely kind and I couldn't buy myself a drink or a hot dog as everyone kept asking me if they could buy me a drink or such! I think they were shocked/surprised as heck to see a NKy (CovCath) football fan at one of there games!

 

Other than attending the JC game in 06 and I must say that with the new stadium JC has lost that HS feel, attending the game at Mayfeild was the best place I have been to attend a HS game other than at Wooten Stadium (hey it's my home )

 

It just had the feel of a HS game!

 

If we were going down to Murray to visit my daughter and her boyfriend instead of them coming up North for Thanksgiving, I would be at this game!

I must say, my daughter loves the WKy/So Ill area!

 

This is how I would get to Mayfield!

 

I-71 South to the Waterson Expressway (inner circle around Louisville) to I-65 South to the Western Kentucky Parkway to I-24 West to the Purchase Parkway and follow the signs to Mayfield.

 

You won't hit a red light again after you leave the Dixie Hwy in Ft. Mitchell that is until you hit Mayfield which is around 5 hours driving time later (give or take a little depending on how you drive)! Nice easy drive and once you leave the Louisville area not much traffic at all. BTW gas is usually pretty cheap around the Beaver Dam Welcome Center Exit!

Remember Mayfield as well as all of WKy is on Central Standard Time!

If the game is at 7pm CST it is 8pm EST!

 

Should be a good one and good luck to both teams!

I believe Mayfield has moved the game up to 6pm CST/7pm EST to make it easier for fans. CardinalsVoice08 will know for sure!

I can't wait for the Mayfield fans to see the speed and skill players Beechwood puts on this field this year. And I am sure the Mayfield fans can't wait for Beechwood to see their speed and skill players. It is going to be a fun game to watch.

I think this came is going to be AMAZING and believe both fan bases are excited to see what the other has to offer...same side of bracket, just 5 1/2 hours away...:lol:

I would guess the crowd will be in the neighborhood of 5,000 at War Memorial...temps in mid 40's and clear at kickoff!
