Are they expecting some kids to not be eligible at Ludlow this week? That could be a deal breaker for them.
-
Dayton is just East of Bellevue.
-
Paris has too much speed, if Bracken is able to control the clock they will be able to keep it from getting ugly, but too many weapons for the hounds. Paris schedule has been extremely weak, they will beat the teams in the playoffs that they simply can out run, they are not good enough up front to make a long run in the playoffs.

Nick Parker from Bracken County ran for 294 yards on 22 carries.
-
Bracken ran for 533 on 54 carries according to Maysville paper.
-
Glad to see them get the W, I thought it would be a much closer game though.
-
Final per scoreboard.
-
Thinking Bracken gets it done at home 21-14.
-
Nicholas is better than anyone that Brossart has played. This is a very evenly matched football game.
-
Man you guys live the life, that would be cool to see as many games as you guys have this year. When I retire I'd love to be able to follow as many games as you guys.
-
Bracken is not a bad team this year, 2 of their 3 losses have came to teams that will probably end up winning 7-8 games this year. They play hard and are world's better than they were this time a year ago.
-
Any stats on this one yet? I really expected Harlan to win this one by a much larger margin.
-
Bracken scored 3 out of 4-5 possessions, they gave Harlan a cheap one early and that was the difference in the game ultimately. Harlan has a nice team.
-
Sounds like Brossart is giving them all they want.
-
I'm going to say the Bracken defense and size will be too much for Gallatin. Da Bears in a close one.
-
Any idea what Gallatin has? They are usually pretty competitive.
-
I would love to see Ludlow pull off the upset but I don't see it happening, Bracken gave Ludlow all they wanted last week and I would venture to guess that Paris has a whole different level of athletes. I'm pulling for them but I am not sure they have the fire power to get it done. Hope they prove me wrong!

Good to see these two programs having JV teams, I know at times they both have had their varsity programs in jeopardy of folding due to low numbers.
-
It's going to be really interesting if NL is 8-0 when the Father Son game occurs, things would be really tense in the Larkey family.
-
That's pretty weak! I honestly could see NL going 10-0, that would be absolutely huge for that program.
-
In all honesty, I was surprised to see that Bracken limited some of Ludlow's athletes the way they did, from everything I've heard Ludlow has some nice skill kids this year.
-
Both teams come in at 1-1 on the season with a common opponent so far, Bracken defeated Switzerland County, Ind. 49-14 and Gallatin beat them 41-0. It's hard to compare margin of victory in blowout wins.
Who wins and why?

I just checked the sky and didn't see any pigs in the air so I have to go with Corbin in this one 50-7. I think Haddix will do what he can to keep the score down. I will probably make it up to Manchester to check this one out as the other game seems to good to pass up. I think Clay will improve as the season goes they always seem to have several athletes on the field.
-
I am going to go with Bellevue. BB may be for real this year, obviously they are much improved, but the jury is still out. 40-0 type scores are hard to compare, it's hard to tell who laid off late in the game or who maybe piled it on. I'm going Bellevue 24-14.
