    I second this.

Old Hickory is the place in Owensboro for BBQ.

GD Ritzy's in Owensboro is like a local Steak-n-shake. If want a different option.

In Bowling Green there are three places that stand out above the rest and they are all local places.

    1. Rafferty's

    2. Montana Grill.

    3. Double Dogs.

All three have different at atmospheres and menus.

    Dan Davis would agree.

Coach Hart has done a nice job with that program and helping them get over the Memorial and Mater Dei hump although Memorial bounced them from the playoffs again back in '17 & '18.  I think in 2015 they could have won a state title if not for Indy Chatard and they would have had a really good shot at making the state finals in 2019 if not for their PAC foe Heritage Hills.  That was a good 2nd round game.  I think they easily win sectionals this year in a routes all the way through to the regionals and obviously have a good shot to win state.  By the way, I love the Haub House.  Great restaurant and loved eating there as a kid.  One of the best things in Haubstadt.

    Dewig Meats is the other.

  3. I got two separate texts during the first half of the game that this would  happen.  The first one I brushed off but about 20 minutes later I got one from somebody has some connections to the program and usually knows some inside info.  I didn't want to post anything at that time though as it was just a rumor.

  4. If also read that in some places in the world they are considering you as unvaccinated if it has been so many days since you got the shots.  In other words your vaccine has worn off.  Saw an article today that apparently they are discussing requiring boosters every 5 months.

No need to feel sorry. Here's what I think. If you're just comparing food, 4th of July wins. You're really hard pressed to find a restaurant that regularly serves Thanksgiving style food. Yet places that serve picnic/cookout style food are all over the place. If Thanksgiving food is so great, why do most of us only eat it one time a year? I feel like everyone links everything else up about the holiday with the food, and thus the food get elevated because of all the other stuff going on that day.

Speaking as the person who has to do all of the cooking for my families Thanksgiving meal, for me it would have a lot to do with the cost and time involved.  We host my wife's side of the family and I usually spend about $200 for the meal.  Plus I start around 8 and we don't eat til about 2.  (Actually I start the night before baking pies)  I can feed the same amount of people burgers and dogs for way less and it takes like 30 - 45 minutes.  I would enjoy Thanksgiving dinner several times a year if it wasn't such an undertaking.

  6. You need to get the Dr. Schools inserts.  You can find them at Walmart for about $15.00.  Another good thing to get is get a golf ball and put it on the floor while you are seated in a chair like at a desk.  Roll the ball around the bottom of your foot for 5 to 10 minutes.  This really helped me a lot.
