Maybe I got a hold of a bad one.
Nah, I’m sure it was standard MC D issue.

The search is over. Alexandria McDonald's has them. Had one today for lunch and sadly, I hate to admit, I was wrong. The thing was terrible. Don't remember them being that bad. Am I allowed to change my mind ?
Hate to hear that it wasn't as tasty as you remembered. I'm still going to have to try one.

We ended up with 3 trick or treaters last evening. A neighbor who had twins last year and wanted to meet everyone. Actually first time I met her. And a neighbors son, brought over his 1.5 year old.
I had joked with a neighbor in he morning that since we had 3 new grand parents on the street and the twins, our door bell just might ring.
No car pools showed up to my knowledge as our street is very hard for the kids to work. Houses sit far off the street and it is rather hilly.
I didn't have any candy here, but lets say the kids scored some nice toys.

I have more of a problem with people bringing infants around to get candy than the random 7th or 8th grader.
They don't come around for the candy, they come around to showcase their little ones. Mentioned to a neighbor that we could have a few treaters tonight since one family on the street had twins last year and 3 more become recent grandparents. I'm cool with that!

My personal opinion is a middle school student shouldn't be trick-or-treating in the first place. However, that could make things difficult for parents looking to take a younger kid and having to miss the concert.
If they dress up (not just put on a football jersey and jeans) they have earned candy.

When you are hitting them at that rate he needs to keep shooting.
Agreed. It lifted his season % to 31.7%

Doesn’t coach Snapp have another son in the Pipeline? Will he see action? His oldest was fun to watch.
-
He jacked up a three nearly every minute. Hope he iced his arm last night.

Smart move. St Mary’s had scheduled their first ever trunk or treat last Friday and cancelled due to rain. Does it matter what day of the week it is? When we were kids it was always on a weekend near Halloween. Never at night. We would hit Dayton early and Bellevue late. Those pillow cases weighed a ton.
@UKMustangFan I’d invite you to trick or treat on our street but we have not had a single kid in 3 years. Told a neighbor that we now have one year old twins and a couple of grandparents on the street that may want to show off their new editions this year? Too young for candy, but those little outfits are so cute.

Kentucky is flawed, badly flawed, everywhere except Defense.
I just shake my head and say wow.
The 7 teams they defeated may disagree with you. I keep thinking they are not as good as their record, yet they keep on winning. As I’ve said over the last few weeks. “We will know more about them this week”.

Nice run by the Camels. Congrats to Hannah.

I was preseason top 10 in the 1995-96 10th Region.
Also, that's a lie.
You weren’t even born in 96.

Milk or buttermilk? I’ve soaked in buttermilk and then rinsed it off before grilling and you could have thought it was beef when you ate it.
The regular 2% milk we use at the house.

Heard Vince Rankin picked up his first offer from Mount St. Joseph. Congrats. Missed seeing him play last year as he was injured. Plan on catching him a few times this season.

So I’ve had my buck on ice since Tuesday and am going to cut him up today.
I’m going to keep the back straps and the tenderloins as steaks, then I’m going to grind the rest. I might change my mind and keep a couple roasts, we’ll see.
I’m actually wanting to make some breakfast sausage and possibly goetta with the buck. I’m excited to see how this goes!
We used to grind up most of ours but recently have been doing a lot of chops/steaks. The breakfast sausage is very expensive to make. Had some chops the other night we used in a stew. Soaked them in milk over night and couldn't tell the difference between them and the beef in the pot.

They didn't have preseason articles about HS intramurals so I didn't make the cut.
The youngest TACster made it 3 years in a row.

Batting .287. leads the league in on base % “by a large margin” has hit more line drives than any other player.
Granted power is down but it’s not like the wheels have fallen off of the bus.

Kentucky will offer him when he’s on campus. And for all the “is he willing to wait to play?” people, he’s as good or better than any wing that’s committed. He’s a 4/5 Star kid. Can score at all 3 levels, plays D, and has great length. Potential to be a one and done.
I’m assuming you think he comes with a bag of chips?

I play 9 holes every week for about 16 weeks minus the weeks I miss for work. I may play in one scramble a year. I play at fox run in my league. The place sucks. rjs nailed it. We have looked for other places to play and haven’t found one that will take as good of care of us as they do. I’ve been in the league for close to 20years. We tee off when we get there and only pay for those that show.

End of an era. Fran Berkemeyer has closed the doors on the gold Star chili in Alexandria, KY.
Pressure to expand to a new super Gold Star format was just not right for her at this time.

Can’t imagine a greater pain. Prayers your way.

If this is the standard, it is open season. I would say the shooter in this case put a target on himself if he isn't prosecuted and this is the standard in Florida. Any person the shooter ever gets in an argument with going forward is justified in pulling l a gun and shooting him. All they have to say is they know the guy is a killer and carries a gun and they feared for their life because he made a verbal threat.
Totally agree.
-
No sir. I saw the video. The victim shoved the shooter to the ground then backed away from him. Shooter pulls his gun with the victim 10 feet or more away. Victim moves further away and shooter fires anyway. No one in that situation should be feeling imminent death or great bodily harm. If the shooter would have waited a few seconds, he probably could have shot the victim in the back.
If this shooter is allowed to walk, it is open season in Florida and Wyatt Earp isn't around to clean it up.
Once again , I think what was said May influence this case. The combination of the physical harm and implied harm may set the guy free if they threatened death or more harm to him regardless if he was backing away. I do think he was hit a couple times in the back too?
Agree it may not be the right thing to do but it is the law.
-
So do you have to have a gun to "Stand your ground?" The shooting victim's partner said that both of them feared for their safety given the shooter's aggression. And he was clearly the aggressor. Where is the shooting victim's right to stand his ground? Does he have to have a weapon to do so?
There is no fear in the shooter's part if he doesn't become aggressive to begin with.
No you don’t have to have a gun. Funny how the guy could have feared for his life seeing he was inside when his wife was being berated by the gunman.
