Absoultely. The freshman class is very strong. Good size, long and athletic. The 7th grade class is really something special. I think they finished their regular season undefeated with their only lose coming in the round of 16 at the state tournament where I was told they did not play up to thier potential. This coming from the coach that handed them the lose. They have a very good youth program that is developing some very good players and some really good teams. Expect WV to be on very solid ground and a strong contender in the 8th region for many years to come.

Big pro is the talent that they have on the way.

No offers thus far. Trame is your prime candidate. I'm sure there will be others contacting the school to apply. Expect a decision after the state tournament would be my guess.

Oh, no offense at all taken for throwing the younger and very talented Bearcats from Walton under the bus. "You can't do that at Walton"? Maybe in the past that has been the case but I have seen these younger teams play and I understand they have built a development feeder program that is top notch. Careful what you say. If you ask me, contending for a regional championship is exactly what the Bearcats will be doing for the next several years. The only thing I agree with you on is your percentage rating of Wright coming back to Walton.

Any info on NKY Wildcat player names? I think I may have seen this team play as well. Who coaches them?

I have seen this Omega team play. They are very good and play extremely hard. What are their plans for state D1 or D2 and will they compete at Nationals? It appears they have some kids that can really play. Give me your insight.

And how did Walton do against these teams? I assume they either won or placed second in the tournament as 6th graders. What was their record last year and what is it this year?

Didn't Walton and Johnson Central meet last year in a BCi tournament? I also believe Corbin was in this tournament as well. I know they have played several other teams such as Lincoln Co and Fleming Co. Anyone remember who won these games?

I know middle school teams do not get a lot of coverage but if you are putting together a lost of the best 7th teams in the state of Kentucky it certainly should contain Walton Verona.

Twenhofel has a very nice team, however I saw where they were taken right down to the wire against Walton Verona. And, Walton played a lot of 7th graders.
