Cumberland has actually surpassed the Hollow as a smallmouth fishery in the last few years..
I did not know this. I live within an hour's drive of Cumberland. I will be going there soon!:thumb:

Congratulations!!

I would like to see Rondo crack down on defense a little and shut down Rose in the next couple of the games.
Easier said than done..

Whitley hasn't shown anything to be the clear favorite, however freshmen Trace Vorbeck will probably start monday. I know in Florida he was clocked at 84 mph, and it probably the most acurate pitcher Corbin has.
Vorbeck looks like a Junior or senior, His feel for the game is great for a Freshman. He has a bright future ahead of him!:sssh:

If he isn't going to make a visit to Kentucky, That means he probabbly isn't interested in playing at Kentucky. I look for him to commit to Kansas!

I think Elkhorn Creek is awesome for some smallies. :thumb:
I was mostly wondering about Lakes, But Rivers and Large creeks are okay also. As long as I can get my boat in and out easily!!:thumb:

Atleast until somebody knocks them off the top, just Corbin had to do to South Laurel.

Bell Co. has a strong group of players coming back next season. I thought they would have been one of the top 4 teams in the region this season. They should again in my book with the kids they have back be tops in the district. If I had to rate the top 5 in the 13th next season this would be my five.
1. Clay Co.
2. Corbin
3. South L.
4. Knox
5 Bell Co.
Corbin should still be the favorite for next year.

I love Magic Johnson, but completely disagree with something he said yesterday. He said that Boston is missing that 3rd scorer to help Peirce and Allen out. Rondo had 29. I don't know what more he wanted him to do.
He should of had at least 31 because they lost by 2. Maybe thats what he meant..

IMO Rose had the best rookie-playoff performance ever.
-
Caleb Watkins from Corbin.

Last time I checked, Birmingham was in Alabama, not Georgia..

I would say that Dale Hollow (some of the lake is in Ky.), Cumberland and Ky. lake would be three very good choices. With Dale Hollow's limits there is a very good posibility of getting a big smallmouth........Dale Hollow smallmouth length and creel limits are (2) fish per day, (a slot length limit of 16"-21"), one fish under 16" and one fish over 21" may be taken.
Dale has long been known for big Smallies and this slot/creel limit only increases the numbers. JMO
I have fished Lake Cumberland a few times but yet to catch any Monster bass. Striper is king there.

I caught a 5 pound 3 ounce smallie out of Laurel Lake last summer. I didnt measure the legnth though..

What about when UK got rid of Tubby? Just admit that you all as UK fans wanted Billy Donavon!
We wanted Phil Jackson but it wasn't going to happen.

It runs through Rowan County. I caught the longest one that was submitted in the state there in 2005.
How Big was it?

It would be Sac-religious to give the MVP to anyone other than LeBron!!
-
In your opinion, What is the best lake to catch Big Smallies?
-
It's funny about a month ago, all you all wanted him at UK, now your dogging him?
WE never wanted him!! We wanted to get rid of Billy Clyde and get anyone besides BCG!!

:thumb:
Thank God for that. -
Whatever the reason may be I do want to wish him luck where ever he ends up.

I personally could care less if he knows anything about UK's tradition or history. All I care about is can he contribute to the program and represent the university in a respectful way.
It would help if he cared about the prestiege of the program as well. Just to help boost fan support with Xavier.

Yea but it gets kinda weird seeing UK loose this many games in a season!!!
especially three 10 loss seasons in a row.

Appearently there are some UK fans who have football in their hearts to beat Florida this year, I hope it's a joke?:lol::lol:
I wouldn't bet against Urban adding another Title to the Trophy case.

So far, DeAndre Liggins. I hope he proves me wrong though!
