Should be a great showdown between LCA and Corbin on October 30th in Lexington!!
-
Wow. 1,117 yards in 7 games is pretty impressive!
-
Point Guard
Great player. Makes the team go.
The Point guard at Corbin is Senior Isaac Wilson. Nobody named Mills on the team.
-
Didn't a good player from South transfer to Corbin? I hear he's a player that could help Corbin.
6'1'' Junior, Hunter Sizemore. IMO, He should be the 2nd-4th option off the bench.
-
There is not really enough quickness in that lineup to play Corbin's usual man to man defense. Not sure how much Manns and Hopkins will be able to play at the same time since both will have to guard the opponents post player. T. Smith played the 4 spot last year and Johnson the wing, although Smith if healthy could possibly play the 2 or 3 spot. Johnson would really have to improve his ballhandling to play the 2 spot, they will need him more on the inside this year after losing Crawford and J. Smith's rebounding and I would expect him to help the team more at the 4 spot this year. I'm not sure how much Freeman, Jones and Taylor will contribute other than spot minutes.
G - Wilson
G - ?
W - T. Smith(hopefully)
F - Johnson
C - Manns/Hopkins
subs who will see some time:
Stewart
Freeman
Jones
Taylor(if he plays)
Hopkins will play the 3, 4, and 5, but mostly the 4. Manns will play almost every minute, at the Center position. Johnson's ball handling IS good enough to play the 2 spot. Wilson will be handling the ball most of the time.

Its hard to go against the hounds when you have backs such as Matthew Taylor, Caleb Watkins and a healthy Ryan Fritts. Also, Roman Mitchell is stepping up and making the big plays at quarterback. The Hounds 'D' is good as always.

He would play a lot, possibly start at the other guard spot along side Wilson. I wouldn't count on him coming though.
I dont think he would start. He would play quite a bit tho.
-
Eric will get to play alot. He may not start but playing time will be there for him!
-
What about Landon Slone?
He is a walk on and will be back next season.
-
Rose because he makes a 7-figure salary...Wall hasn't even signed his LOI yet..

You are all selling Ramon short. THe past two years he's had to shoulder more load than his talent will allow. But stick him on the floor with 4 other very talented players and I think you'll see that he will be an asset to the Cats. Ramon will see the floor and will contribute if health concerns don't cause him to not play.
I think Ramon deserves a bit more respect and loyalty from Cats fans than he's getting. He never once didn't play hard, he never once brought disrespect to UK. He's represented us well and deserves more from some so called UK fans than he is getting. He can't be blamed that the previous two coaches surrounded him with mediocre players.
I'm as excited about Coach Cal as anyone. But we don't cast aside those who have been productive and loyal just because......
I agree with you, Truth. Harris is very athletic and plays as hard as anyone on the floor. A 6'7 SF that gives it his all every time, is hard to find these days. He will be battling for the 7th-9th spots, but he could see upto possibly 10 minutes per game. Ramon fills the spot of a role player. He was asked to do way too much under BCG.

Beat teams like VMI and Gardner Webb....

Im not nervous anymore, I can get back to my regular life now!!!

Let wall go to Miami. IMO, that would be the best choice for John. For Kentucky, It would be great for Wall to attend Miami. First of all, Keeping him from Duke is every Wildcat fan's dream. Second thing, at Miami, he can basically run things at Miami. I believe at Kentucky, He will not be as big because of the High-level players already on the team.
-
Other than Miller who does KC have coming back that will make an impact?
Personally I look for South to be the front runner due to St. John and coaching staff, Clay will be tough as well, Corbin has several good players but will miss Crawford and Smith (who may have been their best player the last month of the season) alot. 13th could be a wide open affair.
Knox has a good shooter in Travis Canady, a solid point guard in Tanner Broughton.
-
Add Knox Central to that list.
-
WOW! He really looks good in the video!
-
I don't...
Im with you on this one...:isurrender:

Clay has enough talent to win the region, but the region is still wide open as far as I'm concerned.
Agreed!:thumb:

If Omar pitches the Hounds have a chance....who will be on the mound for this matchup?
Bubba, You could get the start...
-
I think Roman has payed his dues and deserves to start, however I believe Roman has the starting job until Smith or whoever else can beat him out.
It is Roman's job to lose as of now:thumb:
-
Personally, I think it is between Kentucky and Duke.
Exactly what I think:thumb:
