I honestly don't care what he does as long as he produces on the field, which would help the team win games. I never understood why people care so much about what he does, as long as he produces...Last year he didn't say a thing all year during the year, just like people wanted and he sucked. So if talking is what it takes to motivate him for some reason to do good, then I say he should. Everybody has different things that motivate him, and maybe talking is what does it for him. -
Do you think GM's want to roll the dice on him after sitting out?
That's a BIG gamble for a GM, especially considering since he is 49ers property all they way until the draft starts. This means he will not even be able to work out for any other team. For a GM to draft this guy knowing he may not be able to sign him without even evaluating him after a year off his a huge risk.

John's defense really stepped up, especially their secondary. Great effort and solid win.

I have had season tickets for 5 years now and will continue to renew them. I don't care what anyone else says, I have fun going to the games - win or lose. Yes, it's more fun when they win, but I'm a fan in good times and bad. I know there are many that do not agree with that, but it's my money to spend how I want.

Not sure why UK decided to file suit? What are they trying to gain?
Could be to have the KY court establish jurisdiction rather than the TX court. :idunno:
-
Yep, if he somehow goes the judges are going to be sad they used their save on Matt G.
The save would not have come into play since it was only good until they got to the Top 5.

Keep posting whatever you feel you can SSF. Most of us on here enjoy your take on UK happenings.

Cats by who cares how many. I'm drinking the Kool-Aid and will not apologize for it.

Exactly why drafting DL is just as important as drafting OL
Couln't agree more. That's why monster DTs are so valuable. They take on the double team and free the LBs and DEs to rush the QB. That's exactly what Haynesworth does and also why he was paid so much money. Odom had a great year in Tennessee because of Haynesworth.

Its a lot of money, maybe too much, but Coles is a safe number one guy who will be consistantly strong, but not a star. While hes not a star, getting rid of Chad for a 2nd and 4th to a team like Minnesota or da Bears, is worth 28 mill...
I know I'm probably in the minority on the Chad issue, but I think it would be wise to keep him for at least another year. His play was stellar until last year. He has stated he will attend all off season workouts and hasn't caused all of the commotion yet this year. Hopefully he will turn things around and be the productive number 1 he has been.

Just heard on Sirius NFL Radio that the Bengals signed Coles to a 4 year, 28 million deal. No word yet on the signing bonus.

Beginning in February, Fort Knox is scheduled to start to see the influx of 31,000 new families over the course of the following 2-3 years. Government contractors and private non-unit personnel. Some will go to outlying areas, but you cannot help but believe that the high school and its football program will improve.
Government contractors and private non-unit personnel will not be permitted to live on Fort Knox, which is what it takes to send a student to the school. However, there will be two brigades transferring in which will bring a lot of Soldiers living on post and should help.

It's LIMBO time!

When you school is playing a game that you are 99.9% they are going to get whacked big time in do you still go to the game?
Let's take that one more step and say your team plays that team or teams each year and they are never close in those games. How long as a fan do you keep going to that game?
If the team is ever going to improve and have the potential to be a consistent winner, you must attend the games and show your support to the program. In every formula that successful teams use, community support is a huge factor. If you/the community does not support the program, the program will never succeed.

1.Trinity
2.St. X
3.Central
4.Highlands
5.Boyle Co.
6.Beechwood
7.Manual
8.Ft. Campbell
9.Christian Co.
10.Newport Centeral
You have Central over Highlands, Boyle Co. over Bell (who you didn't even list), and Beechwood over Newport Central Catholic? Cannot disagree more.

I don't care where the finals are held or who is playing, my brother and I watch all the games every year.
-
I'll be there for all six games. Can't wait!!!

Dont take the test. Your future employer wont care if you got a B or a C in this class. Use the time to study for your other classes.
I don't think this is about a future employer, it's about you. Studying for this exam will further your education and ability to overcome obstacles. You stated you wanted to challenge yourself by taking this class - see it through to the finish.

Congrats to the St. X running back.
Boyle County's Larry French and Monroe County's John Pettet are the Associated Press co-coaches of the year.
Congrats to Mr. Finch for a great season and career.

He has a point. Sad if you ask me.
I agree he has a point. I was laughing when I read it because it's true.

Article from the Kentucky New Era in (Christian County) Hopkinsville.
Did you read the viewer comment at the bottom of the article?
" I think it is pathetic that our hometown nespaper has written an entire article on Highlands. This is the first time in 24 years that the Colonels have been to the state championship. There should have been an article in the sports everynight this week about this team. We do not care that Highlands is chasing an 18th victory. WE CARE THAT THE COLONELS ARE AFTER THE FIRST IN 24 YEARS. "
Now that's funny!

Honestly AllTell you are exactly where I was the first time I read this thread. Sure size is a factor but it's not the end all, of all. Look at how well historically Danville has played schools from Louisville and Lexington. :thumb:
And let's not forget Beechwood. They are one of the smallest 1A schools and still dominate.
-
Who has the most state championships NKY or Louisville? I would say that would show where the better football is.
Not necessarily. Who has the most state championships has a lot to do with how many classes are represented by each area. Louisville is dominated by 6A schools with a few smaller classes sprinkled in. I thought the question was relating to if both areas created an allstar team, who would win? Is that not the question?

When this game is over Fugate will have definitely dominated Central, and then he deserves significant applauds for the service and presentation of a lopsided and fantastic football game by a superstar.:thumb:
Are you Fugate's agent or something? I've never seen such over the top admiration for one player before.
