The AAU state tournaments will be in NKY this year. Who all will be attending and at what level. Will this affect turnout not being centrally located in the state?

Camp Ernst 6th over Conner by 8. Camp Ernst 7th over Conner by 20+.

Camp Ernst 6th grade over Grant County. Grant County 7th. over Camp Ernst by 10.

Camp Ernst 6th over Ballyshannon. Camp Ernst 7th. over Ballyshannon by 3 in a very wild finish that concluded with 3 technical fouls and the Camp Ernst coach ejected in the last two minutes. Ballyshannon 8th over Camp Ernst.

Camp Ernst 6th grade over Gray. Cam Ernst 7th grade over Gray by 11.

The St. Pius 7th graders are very good. They are fun to watch.

St. Pius 6th over Camp Ernst by 10. St. Pius 7th over Camp Ernst by a lot.

Ockerman 6th over Camp Ernst by 1. Ockerman 7th over Camp Ernst by 11.

Camp Ernst 6th and 7th over IHM.

The Ockerman 7th grade team is a scary group with their size and athleticism. Wish I could have seen this one. Something tells me I may get to see a rematch in the tournament.

Turkeyfoot 6th come from 10 down to beat Camp Ernst by 1 in a great game. Camp Ernst 7th wins over Turkeyfoot pretty easily. Turkeyfoot 8th wins over Camp Ernst.

From the teams I have seen so far. In no particular order. These are just players that stood out. I love Hagan's game. One of the better point guards in the state IMO. The Bryant kid from RA is a nice player also with size and athleticism.

I like the 2023 thread and wanted to see if anyone wanted to discuss the 7th graders. Thoughts?

KBC 2024 went 5-0 this past weekend to win the Under Armour Queen City Cup 6th grade division. They are 9-2 on the season with both losses by two points to quality teams.

I was using the logic that it should be treated the same as an injured player and wait for a change of possession or a stop in the action. It seems like although called correctly that it should have penalized the offending team more. Made free throws are not guaranteed, but a made basket is.

This occurred in a basketball game yesterday and I was curious as to if it was called correctly or not. Player on team A makes a steal and heads across the midcourt line towards his basket. He continues in and makes an uncontested layup. Coach for team B enters the court after the steal, but before the make cursing at the official. The official blows his whistle and issues a technical foul on the coach. The official negates the basket, but awards two free throws and the ball. Was this ruled correctly and is it possible to stop a fast break with a bench technical.

Probably shouldn't but any of the remaining three teams could do it.
