Congrats to Ryle on clawing back at the end. Sounds like the Camels were well prepared and kudos to Coach Weinrich for going for the win. Final score should be 37-36 from MC44’s info. From total yardage recap, I assume Ryle turned the ball over a time or two. Anyone at the game with more info? Thanks to BubbyKY for updates.

If Joe B continues to play without his normal escapability and uncanny scrambling ability, the Redbirds will win. Many of the Bengal victories the past 2 years would have been losses without Joe’s mobility. He is not the same player right now that we are used to seeing.

On way to parking lot I heard a 70-yard pass reception then a one yard TD run to make it 56-35.

Nice drive by X and surviving a near miss on a pick 6 by Ryle. Yates then punches it in from 5 yards out. 56-28 X with 7:43 to play. I’m headed home. Great effort by Ryle. X was clearly better.

3 and out and nice punt and good coverage. X takes over at 41 with 9:20 to play.

One first down then punt downed at Ryle 12. Raiders take over 10:44 ti play.

Raiders force a 3 and out after a good return by Harbin. Punting from own 39. Nice hang time on punt and fair catch at Ryle 20.

Another nice 80-yard TD drive by Ryle. Two big pass plays to Lyons and Lee and a couple runs by Savage. A nice scramble and about a 15 yard TD pass from Verax to Savage. 49-28 X with 2:19 to go in 3Q.

Congrats to Highlands. The Birds have asserted themselves as the best team in NKY at this point in the season.

Excellent 40 or so yard kickoff return by Gray. X has been gaining some big chunks on Ryle on the ground. QB pass intercepted by Lyons at Ryle 21. It looked like a bobble by the receiver 

Excellent 57-yard kickoff return by Lyons with a face mask penalty tacked on. 1st and 10 Raiders from X 17. 3 and 7 pass incomplete. Fortunate 4th down reception for 1st and goal from 4. No gain on keeper on first down. Fumble on second down recovered by Raiders. 3 and goal from 3. Offsides by X. 2 yard TD pass from Verax to Lee. 42-21 7:00 left in 3Q.

Horse collar on kickoff coverage to go from 15 to 30, where X started their drive. Nice drive but sack on 2nd down makes it 3rd and 11. Excellent pass to Harbin (spelling) for a TD at the side of end zone. 9:47 3Q 42-14.

We had a game Ru. Too many mistakes against a good team. X is not down. Excellent 35 yard kickoff return plus a horse collar tackle and Ryle starts at X 45.

Raiders barely miss on 3rd down pass from Verax to Lorms. Blocked 36-yard FG and great hustle by Landon Lorms to save another easy TD. 1st and goal at 8. Yates with 2 yard run on 2 and goal. 35-14 X with 1 minute left in 2 Q. 3 easy TDs is a killer. 

One first down by Raiders then punt on 4 and 4. Knuckleball punt fumbled by X returner and recovered by Nate Verax at X 33.

X goes for it on 4 and 4 from Ryle 24. Pass slightly overthrown and Ryle takes over on downs at own 24.

Ryle finally putting a nice drive together starting at about own 20 and overcoming a holding call. Big play was a really nice escape and 33 yard pass by Verax. X stuffed Ryle for a 3-yard loss on 4 and 1 at the 13. Then nice fourth down completion by Verax. About an 80-yard drive for a TD with most all of the yards on the ground. Verax with a sneak for the TD. 28-14 X with 7:48 left in 2Q.

Another St X drive for TD with 16 ticks left in 1Q. 28-7 X.
