  1. He is hitting and what a glove. The best part is that he is cheap. He defense is as good as it gets. Use the money, what little they have available for another pitcher.

From what i saw Sunday, i dont like him at shortstop. Takes glove off inbetween pitches, stands straight up when ball is in play. He let two playable balls go off his glove and it cost them the game.

  2. I don't ever remember a bank running a credit check on me when I've opened a checking account.

I'm pretty sure that they need to list a permanent address when filling out job applications, and it's usually a requirement to have a job to draw a paycheck. :p:lol:

I dont think banks run a credit check. Im pretty sure they do check a data base to make sure you dont owe any other banks money on overdrawn checking accounts or loans that have been sent to collections.

  3. I kinda of thought it was fake but wasnt sure. The only episode that has me thinking some parts are real is when Matt flipped that car they were towing it from a repo. If i remember correctly he was sitting in the car steering while it was being towed, the cable snapped, car ended up on its top with him in it.

  4. Just have to know. What is your reasoning? Lead me through your thought process where Newport should beat Bellevue by 3 TD's this year.

Bellevue got beat pretty good by Holy Cross last week,(I understand Holy Cross is going to be good this year) so im going to say Newport gets them by 14-21 also.

  5. Oh you can always get a lemon with any brand. Honda knows transmissions, unfortunately you got a poor quality one. I hope it worked out for you in the long run.

They had a major recall on the automatic transmissions and were slapped with a civil lawsuit.

I will have to say, Honda is a decent brand but they are not know for their automatic transmissions. Most owner wills admit they are crap. I do like the vtech engine.

I'd say over a million units affected is more than just a lemon.

    2003 Acura TL

  6. Honda is right there too. The Accord is a great car. Plus Honda makes a great motorcycle. :thumb:

Weird, I had nothing but problems with my Acura(honda). Apparently Honda is still trying to figure out how to build an automatic transmission.

  7. I’m sure now that the government and unions own two the three automakers things will improve.

Seriously though, your experience with Dodge really sucks. I bought a used Dodge 1500 and have had several issues over the last three or four years. Nothing as major as yours, but it always seems to be something. The best vehicles I’ve owned have been Chevys, but I’ve never owned a Toyota or Honda. I just might buy a Toyota next since they seem to have a good reputation.

Ford the last three or four years has greatly improved quality.

If i'm not mistaken the camary and corrolla had more recalls than fords entire line last year. (im looking for a link now)

Why does everyone have a bad taste for American owned automakers? Usually because they get front page exposure when there is a problem. If you look at recent Toyota and Honda recalls (and yes there have been a few!) you are lucky if you read about them in the back of the want ads. Conspiracy? Favoritizism? Payoffs? who knows - you decide.

That being said, I'd still never own a Dodge, well maybe a Challanger R/T
