  1. I agree 100%. I think that Charlie will be fine if ND will leave him alone. I think if Clausen and Tate come back, ND has a great shot at a National Championship next year.

They cant do anything until they shore up that defense.

  2. :thumb::thumb: No doubt in my mind Larry. I have hunted and shot firearms practically all my life and I have yet to see a "boomerang" bullet, which one would had to have been to hit from both angles.

There was a very good program on the history channel about a year ago. They basically debunked every theory out there using science. Once reason why the bullet seemed to "boomerang" was because Jfk was seated higher than the Govener in the front seat.

It's a shame that so many Americans base a lot of their conspiracy theories on the movie Jfk.(not saying you do that Oldrambler) The whole movie was filled with trash and false info.

  3. I don't understand this line of thinking....This ND team can barely escape with wins over the likes of Michigan State and Purdue, but is somehow good enough to beat USC? Makes little to no sense to me.

Comparing scores doesnt make sense. Look at Washington. Beat USc then goes to South Bend and loses to Notre Dame.

  4. Times are tough. But, people have different values and interest in teams throughout the country. Nobody can tell me times are tougher in the greater Cincinnati area than in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Green Bay, etc. and I am sure this is not even an issue at these locations.

Dont teams like Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Giants been sold out for years and they have waiting lists for season ticket holders? ( i dont know, just a guess)

  5. This honestly surprised me. I knew at the start of the season the only sellout was the Steelers but figured winning and beating two of your biggest rivals had taken care of this.

This just tells me the sign of the economy in the tristate area. Even winning cant sell tickets around here. If a family is having trouble paying bills and feeding the family, They are not going to spend $70 on a ticket.

  6. Kremer's Market in Crescent Springs has a killer Chx salad, but has pineapple in it, I think, for all you "don't fruit the meat" people. Remke's is right up there, and then there's Sam's Club. The Florence store has had it in the regular meat department in one of the open coolers near their homemade pizza and take-home meals. I buy some croissants, and have fancy sandwiches for dinner.

Sams club sells a good chicken salad. I cant remember the name brand but it came in a half gallon tub. Dont remember it having pineapple in it though.

  7. I was thinking about that, I think it's velocity. If Jordan gets a ton of reps, I don't think he has nearly the arm strength of Carson. O'Sullivan may be closer. Being all righty's, I can't see too much of a difference besides velocity.

Coles didnt have a problem catching bullets from Farve.

I think he just had a bad game.

  8. Well someone's got to do it. It won't be alligator arms Ocho and Coles - even if he were that type of WR - apparently couldn't catch it anyways. TJ's ability to go over the middle was what made the Bengal's passing game so effective.

I thought Chad did a good job (at least yesterday) going across the middle. Hopefully he keeps it up. As far as Coles, i will chalk it up as a bad game before i make judgement on him.

How many times can Brad St Louis mess up the snap before we cut him.

  9. Blackouts 101 per Joe Reedy's Blog

Since the latest questions flowing into the inbox the last two days have been about the amount of tickets remaining and blackouts, I figured now would be as good a time as any to review the NFL blackout rules for the first time since 2003.

If the game is not sold out by 1 p.m. on Thursday (72 hours prior to kickoff) and the Bengals do not get a 24-hour extension, the game will be blacked out within a 75-mile radius of Paul Brown Stadium. For you folks in Lexington, even though the station tower is 75 miles beyond Paul Brown Stadium, you are blacked out too because you are considered a Bengals primary market.

Even if you have the NFL Sunday Ticket and you live within the radius, the game will be blacked out (if you’re a Bengals fan in say, Houston, you’re safe). Also, this is not like the two preseason games where those were shown on tape delay. There will be no tape delay. You will not see it at all.

And for those hoping that Channel 12 comes in at the last moment and buys all the tickets, there are too many available at the moment. Even if all the tickets were in the lowest-costing levels, Channel 12 would have to spend over $300,000 to buy those seats. The folks at Channel 12 have a number in mind, but it isn’t one. It is well under 1,000.

Your only options to see the game after a blackout is imposed? Drive to a sports bar in Columbus or Louisville, hope one of your friends outside of a 75-mile radius has a Slingbox and DirecTV with The Sunday Ticket (so you can watch it on your computer) or try finding another outlet to watch the game on the computer (which will mean getting resourceful).

Otherwise it’s get ready for our live chat at Cincinnati.Com at 1 p.m. on Sunday along with listening to the game on the radio with Brad and Lap.

The Nfl announced today you can watch it on nfl.com for free, tape delay of course. Should be available at 12:01am Monday morning.
