Happy ol Dad did you ever play football? This is week 9 or ten to most teams if you can not tackle now then you cant tackle. In my response it says it only makes sence when you are down by one. So therefore it made sence reguardless of the 2 point possibility. If a first down clinches the game then you should run out the clock. I am a big fan of the Victory Formation I hope we get to use it a few more times this year at Cumberlands.

As a college coach I will tell you that it makes no sense to allow a team to score when they have even the possibility of going up by 10. You allow teams to score to get the ball back when you are down by 1 late in the game and they are inside their own 10, or if you are needing two scores to get back into a game. It is highly doubtful that a team that is in a two, three, or four point game allows a score in order to get the ball back.In a one score game why would you go down by two scores just to get the ball back.
