This years 48th district tournament will be held at McCreary Central high school. The games are as follows: Game 1 will feature #1 Wayne County (17-9) vs. #4 McCreary Central (1-23) at 7:00 Monday Night. Game 2 will feature #2 Southwestern (18-10) vs. #3 Monticello (16-12) at 7:00 Tuesday Night. I think that it is a good possiblity that you will see a rematch of last years 48th district championship. Looks like that the Lady Rebels will finish the regular season undefeated against 12th region opponets as the defeated Lincoln Co. last night 44-38. The Lady Rebels will play Pulaski Co. in the first round of the 47th district at Rockcastle Monday night at 6:30. This should be a fairly easy win for the Lady Rebels. So like I said its Casey's to win!!!!!!!!!:jump:

This just in from the Lake Cumberland Basketball Association. The three officials for this game will be Chris Tilley, John Drake, and Donnie Minton. This Should be interesting!

I'm going way out on a limb and picking Southwestern their record is 4-20 but I think if these guys can stay out of foul trouble and put together a solid game than Southwestern will be right there in the thick of things. Coach Shootz really knows how to get in these guys heads for them to play much better. So just because the record is 4-20 don't count out the Warriors!

I'll agree it is Casey's to lose. And if they fall then my next pick would be Southwestern. I think they have came a long way since the beginning of the season and adjusted well to the absent Heather Overton. Although they for sure need to work on free throws! I think Coach Rice and company will be ready to play come tourny time!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

Who do you pick to be the 12th region champs? I'm going take a gamble and pick Lincoln Co. I'm going to say that Southwestern is the Cinderella team in the 48th and pulls the first round upset on the home standing raiders.:sssh:

This question is wide open. I predict Casey Co. to win this years 12th region tournament. No one in the 12th has been able to pull the upset thus far although the region will be at Lincoln Co. this year I think Casey will pull the upset.
