I hope they get to play the game, but I figured the roads were to bad for it not to be rescheduled.

Last night the Lady Tigers did a great defensive job on the Coleman sisters, if they can come out and do a great job on Wombles then they win this one. Im gonna say Clay 52 South 44

This is hard for me to say considering Im a Clay Co fan but Im pulling for Corbin or Knox to head to Rupp.

Im predicting a Corbin/South Rematch.

Jackson Co has had a pretty good team the last couple years but just havent been able to seal the deal, before the new district alignment it was usually Clay/Rockcastle heading to Region.

I heard on the radio that this was the first time in 7 years that Jackson had made the regional tournment, does anyone know if this right? Also this year they basically lose everyone. Clay/North should control the 49th district for the next couple years.

Jackson Co has a ton of talent but its just like the way they play ball is not organized at all, its a shame that these boys with so much talent havent made it further. It will probally be a long time before Jackson Co gets back to regional tournment.

I hope your right Les, but I cant see South losing. South will win this because they have the much better coach.

I would love to see Jackson Co make it to the final game, but I would say that South will come back in the 2nd.

Is Brumback playing?

If your saying that the Tigers didnt give it all they have last night then you didnt watch the game, Ask yourself this is it Normal for Johnson to go out there and hit 5-3 pointers in about the first 3 minutes of play..I think not! If Corbin had not been so hot last night this game would have been totally different. Yes Corbin played very good last night but it was not their defense that won the game, it was the fact that they scored 32 points in the first quarter. But good win for Corbin, and if they can continue to play like this they will no doubt be the 13th region champs!

I think this game would have been close if Johnson had not got so hot in the 1st quarter, one thing the Tigers do is they play with heart and they hustle more than the redhounds but after going down 20 points in the first quarter the Tigers just could not fight their way back.

The way Corbin was shooting in the first quarter I dont believe Koby Bryant and the Lakers could have beat them. I think Johnson had 5- 3 pointers in the first 3 minutes of play. It was just a great game for Corbin and a not so great game from the Tigers. It seemed like the Tigers could not hit anything and the Redhounds could not miss anything. If Corbin shoots like that everynight then no team will come closer than 10 to 12 points of them, but I dont see them shooting like that every night. Johnson lead Corbin with 32 and Hobbs lead Clay with 17, I was gald to see that the Tigers just did not give up after going behind 32-12 the first quarter, they played with true heart and gave it all they had. I have to agree about Knox's gym, the Reserved seating just did not seem right and it was not as big as I thought it was.

Clay only beat Mboro by 2 at home, but Clay was up in the 4th quarter by double digits (I think 12) and Clay threw the ball away several plays in a row and Mboro got right back into the game and it took a shot with seconds left on the clock to win it for Clay Im predicting Lady Tigers by 6.

I guess I just like to see more points scored.

Im pretty sure that Cody Roberts did not even see playing time during the Corbin game, he is definetly a new weapon for the Tigers. Before the last game of the year most Clay Co fans did not even know he was, but now we know his name very well.

This game was basically all defense and no offense, I just hope the Lady Tigers bring the same defense against Middlesboro but more offense. I did not really understand why the Lady Tigers tried to hold the ball the whole fourth quarter, but I guess thats why im not the coach. But great defensive game by the Lady Tigers, now you better be ready for the Lady Jackets!

Concerning the incident with Brumback and Spurlock, I not only heard this from Spurlock but also players. That is way the fight broke out, believe what you want too but not only Spurlock said it happend but Clay plays said it as well. Also Yes Spurlock can be cocky and it does rubb some people the wrong way, but I personally love the way he coaches, he is very proud to coach at Clay Co and wants to win just as much as the players.... And Im hoping our Administration will keep him around for a while!

I agree the girls tournment should be just as exciting as the girls.

The first North/Clay game was an extremely physical game, I think they were a total of 6 technicals called during the game it was very crazy and did end in arguments on the floor but no fights. But the Jackson/Clay first game ended in a huge fight. As for the Video on Brumback forearming Spurlock, Im not sure if it is on tape or not. Ive heard the story come from Coach Spurlocks mouth a long with several players. But the second Clay/Jackson Clay/North games went good and they were no bad behavior.

I think anyone who saw that game knew that WHitley Co was on fire than night and Clay Co was like Ice. I think it will be a different story this time around.

The last time Clay Co shook hands with Jackson Co, Brumback forearmed Spurlock in the chest and a huge fight broke out.
